Innocent Oblivion

A sweet little girl 
with a heart pure as gold,
was born in the land of shadows
carrying a bundle of bright dreams.

As fair as snow and
innocent as a brand new pearl, 
stretched her pink lips in a perfect smile 
as she danced around with fairies 
in her own imaginary world. 

Her sparkling eyes wide and blue 
beholding the enchantment of an alien world 
she was born into, 
a red rose amongst thousand thorns.

Oblivious of the demons 
Waiting for her, watching her, 
as she dived in a magical world
with innocent oblivion wrapped around her.
