Life Is

Life is a pile of misfit clothes leaving a walkway to my door
it is a series of unfinished to do lists lost on the floor
it is a home that bends and breaks and creaks
of lights that lost their sparkle and dripping taps that drive you mad
a compilation of Big Dreams and limited actions
It is love in its greatest form with the wrong person
the kind that feels upside down and inside out but feels right until its wrong
life is a fat orange cat that fits perfectly in my arms
it is a small white dog that smiles and a big black dog who shows you more love than humanly possible. more love than we often feel we deserve
life is an adventure of traveled minds, spicy foods and music that beats with your heart
the same song on repeat cause I keep forgetting the words but remember the feeling
that makes you so sad you can cry and so happy you will fly and so funky you can swing your hips and shake you bum and bounce like no ones watching
Life is a job that is safe and friendly. It is social, and helpful and full of contextual knowledge. Outside this space it is silence no ringing of phones, no asking of questions, no typing of emails . it is silence and an empty mind.
Life is faith and meaning misunderstood as rules and difference it is freedom to truly live. Freedom to live unique from the world like a forever child so happy in the simplicity of life without possessions or addictions.
life is knowledge of injustice and power to change society. first a little and one day allot. Life is picking up cigarette butts and plastic bottles, it is digging in the mud and creating strong life from a tiny seed. It is talking to someone older and truly learning the story of life from the map on their kind face or sharing a smile with stranger on a train. a stranger who could change your life or simply fade into the shadows of the crowd.
Soon life may change it may be shared with a true love or global family. it may be fulfilled by a true calling in a far away place. Or it may simply be a slightly more organised form of chaos
