Without Me

I’m tired of acting everything is okay,
I can’t even talk to anyone without them calling me gay,
It’s hard for to believe people think that way,
Just because I relatives are doesn’t mean I’m the same
Plus I’ve told them a thousand times that I’m straight,
But they say these things because I don’t have my hair a certain way.
I hate these stereotypes I’m put up against,
So what if I have more guys as my friends,
Worse thing is though, its people who were my friends,
People who I thought had my back until the very end,
Just like what I did for them,
I was there when they needed me the most,
Had their back when they were broke,
Shown them the light when there’s no hope,
 They were my friends,
 Like blood,
Like family,
I look back and say
“Damn where they will be without me.”
