Jeremiah Medina Poem
As you question what has never been questioned.
As phantom as a phantom limb.
What leads us to self destruction?
When mind readers take the win.
Could you feel what others feel?
Every pleasure every pain.
Are those voices false or fiction;
or are you just simply insane?
When the animals start talking to you?
Birds talk trash and cats call names.
The dogs just wanna heal you.
As we pretend it's just a game.
Can you make fire with your mind?
Perhaps you can explode.
With a voice that can stop time.
That shakes their very bones.
Maybe we all have a gift.
Deep within us all unknown.
Tap into this hidden strength.
Embrace the power of your glow.

Jeremiah Medina Poem
Drowning in your own sweat
Tried to breathe but still sank
Drinking the blood of the innocent
Disturbed by the color red
A mask but still the virus spread
A doubt in rationality ends
What is real just never sparks
As the monsters eat our hearts
We fight back but what's the point
They sell their souls for useless coins
Poisoned metal devils
Feast upon our evils
Save us from ourselves
Save us from the veil
Save us
