Wondering Wolf

Two decades old,
Soft skin light toned,
Bushy brown hair,
skinny slim built,
Eyes blue as the sky,
Emotions and mind,
All so very shy.

Born a Capricorn,
Raised in a working class,
Ball full of energy,
shattering plates and glass,
Father held the iron fist,
Mothers mind in a mist,
Smacking, screaming, shouting,
Reminders of him as a kid,
While she was there to kiss.

Talented athlete at school,
Hung out with kids to cool,
Social pint was empty,
Only half filled with Pepsi,
Peers drank beer,
while I stayed in the clear,
Teachers had crumpet faces,
telling me to tie up my laces,
I wish id listen,
But crunched an apple,
kneeling down in the chapel,
ignoring those prayers,
fed up with restricted care.

Flickering strobes,
Shiny lazer beam lights,
Bikie gangs making me feel so bright,
Strange faces everywhere,
in a cosmos they share,
lit up like christmas,
While satan grants their wish list,
Drenched in sweat,
I realised I was running,
from throbbing headaches and pains,
Cloudy Sunday mornings,
driving me insane.

Spaceship landed,
Half matured man,
half wondering wolf,
Paws deep in mud,
preventing my quest,
for a partner in love,
Mary howls her hisses,
in strong gale winds,
Sunrise to sunset,
Fed up waiting for him,
To taste a teaspoon of courage,
To pop a balloon full of wisdom,
Sitting too comfortably,
In his own prison.

Long Term Essence of a Healthy Life

Stop drinking alcohol,
this only reassures us,
like social media,
like your favourite TV shows,
and drugs,
that our personal problems are all okay,
when intoxication is an escape route,
from our abstract reality.

Smoke cannabis on special occasions,
with friends,
on holidays,
away from work,
and daily routines,
Marijuana is a medicinal herb,
like cough syrup,
don't abuse its benefits.

Exercise and go for a run,
Get lost in the gum tree bush,
find yourself amens fresh river streams,
and rich oxygen,
Perfect place to escape stress,
And release pain.

Wake up every day before sunrise,
Take all the opportunity,
to feel the sunlight,
above and beneath the eyes,
supplying us with all the vitamin D we need.

Stop watching Tv,
scrolling through social media,
Playing video games,
deflating our brains,
Manipulating our reality,
distorting the truths,
read books,
newspapers,
history,
and you'll see.

I know these future goals are difficult to attain,
But to emerge out of our sea shells,
we must confront our inner pains,
Don't let temptation dwell,
Don't restrict to the social norms,
Live life the way you feel,
Understand your body,
push its limits and boundaries,
until you realise there's none.

Sacrifice your time to help the poor and unconditioned,
to stand up on their feet,
into a healthy lifestyle and routine.

Live life with complete honesty,
And I promise you,
Nature will roll in ecstasy at your feet,
You will laugh with all joy,
with the realisation that,
sacrifice and love were meant to be.

Illusions of War

Every man has a right over his own life,
Political parties,
Corrupted governments,
destroy promises and hopes,
through false illusions of war,
Forcing innocence into situations,
Shaming his manhood,
to murder neighbours,
disorientating the fruits of human instinct,
against his will.

War affords no acts or sense of heroism,
only high perfection of modern arms,
nuclear warheads,
chemical warfares,
disintegrating human integrity,
disturbing natures existence,
So true,
So obvious,
We scratch our heads,
and question our identity,
of what peace really means.

Go Mad

Denying our nature is surrendering our will.
O Why O Why
We pretend to be a specially suited up ego?
Love will not blend if both parties constantly hide,
their pain,
Because in reality,
Life is pain,
And we're too dumb and stubborn,
to help and love thy neighbors,
Too busy thinking about abstracts,
Not enough feelings,
or focus,
on hardships.

All of us have burning souls within,
The energy that keeps us alive,
Once revealed,
Love is inevitable,
we know who we really are,
Humans travelling through a universe,
trapped in an ego,
of technology,
government corruption,
mindless consumerism,
Distorting thoughts,
Denying our sacrifice for love,
Once pains are revealed,
We are at peace,
Soul free.

Don't let technology steal your reality,
We are the narrators and directors of our lives,
you have a right to express your emotions,
in all shapes and forms,
Nature has reasons for madness,
Just like her Earthquakes and Tsunami's,
We can't have happy sunshines all the time!

What I Suppose To Be

5:30 in the morning,
Sleep disturbed by an ungrateful sound,
Mind racing, body escaping,
But forced to surrender,
conformed to the social norm,
Disguised in a uniform, labelled,
For what I suppose to be.

Caffeine induced, emotions serene,
Driving back to a job straightforward,
Too busy thinking about what will go wrong,
Wondering why I don’t have a qualification,
For what I suppose to be,
But my bills, rent and booze have cornered me in,
Deteriorating dreams that could have been.

Back bent, palms sweating,
Moving back and forth, lifting one by one,
Music plugged in, listening to ideas seen,
Creating a colourful aura,
From all old the old and grey,
Where happiness felt none
Too concerned using sounds to induce my free drug,
To chase my Dream,
For what I could have been.

2:00 in the afternoon,
Belly’s full, limbs tender,
Colleagues above rush to end the forever ending torture,
Too quick to hold, hammer slips,
Pulled down, crushing my skull,
Knocked out cold, mind spiraling out of control.

Instantly,
Mouths wide open,
soul finds rhythm and begins to flow,
Too busy dancing, I forget to say thank you,
For setting me free,
For what I should have been.
