My Darling Husband

To my future husband
You are everything to me
I love you with all my heart
Every inch of me from the inside out.
I made a promise
To you and to myslef
When we met
Almost seven years ago
I promised i would love
From now until the end
And I meant it
You are my partner my best friend
Can u love me back
The way that I love you
I mean really love me
With all you got
Can we last a lifetime
An eternity
My darling husband
I will try do and do my best
To keep what we have
Charish us and our relationship ship
Forever and always

Some Days

some days are to remember
some days are to forget
some days are full of fun
some are full of misery and regret
still
you wish you could go back
push a single button that would erase it or take you back in time
 rewind or simply just
stop the tape
days like those this one that I am having
come often
more and more each and every day
she feels it all so intensly
pain cutting her deep
sharp like a razor
scaring her
with an invisable blade
emptiness is all she has
it surrounds her
consuming her
taking over every thought every memory
she would never be the same.

Running

running blind
running scared
she wants to fall in love
but she does not dare
running alone
looking back
she is going nowhere fast
she wants someone to love and to love her back
but there is too on the line too much too risk
too much would be given and too much would be lost.
running and running and running some more
crazy and wild shes all over the place
making the same decsions
making the same mistakes that she did once before
shes wondered down the same damn paths
slowly over time
but now she has stopped running
taking it step by step
its not worth it
she can only face what is before her
no more hiding no escape
she can only imagine what is in store

I Am Me

I am me
myself
no one else
no more pretending
there is no one else out there at all like me
I am an original
special and unique
sometimes I get lost
confused and don't know what to do
but I pull myself back together
and figure it out
I do what I have to do.
life will throw you curve balls
pitches you weren't ready for
they cone out of nowhere
completely unwanted and unexpected
if you stay true to you
and do the right thing
like I do youll make it through somehow
survive

Lost Love

what happened between us
once a perfect match,
now there is nothing
nothing but a broken heart and a painful past.
Angry
she stands alone
reflecting on the love they shared and how much she once cared
she looks back on their memories
those moments they created long ago
remembering they used to be happy.
blind to what caused the tension first
blind to what may have been the last straw
she has no idea where they fell apart or where they went wrong,

It Happend

beneath the lurking shadows and the darkness
under the silhouette of the moon
she looked up and the yellow stars twinkled bright in the star filled sky that was so very black and so very blue
everything looked just right
the earth shook
and her world was shaken
something bad had happened to her and there was nothing that she could do
not now
not ever
not sometime soon
she can never take it back
they stole her life away from her
 both of them
and she would never be the same.

Symbol

you built me a castle
buried in the sand
standing tall
she smiled proudly
knowing she had done it
and that it would never wash away or fade drifting with the tides
you painted me a rainbow
of all different colors
red orange yellow blue indigo and violet
they were all incorporated
each color added in
hanging in the clear blue sky
you took me to a river
one with a great big waterfall
where the water fell so gracefully and beautiful
scattered over all the smooth boulders scattered all over all the rocks
and you said like our love it would never run dry
you picked me a rose
one so bright and pink
telling me it was a symbol of your love and how much I meant to you
so I cherished it
gave it water and watched it grow
like us day by day it matured
grew bigger
and developed a life of its own....like our love it blossomed lasting forever and always a rose of immortality never dying
I held on to it until the very end.
like I did our love
never once letting go

Halloween

Fall, its my favorite time of year...
The season starts getting colder
the air becomes crisp and sharp
and then the leaves transform
changing colors to bright yellows and neon oranges.
October, Halloween
the night of the dead
superstitions
scary decorations
hauntings and so much more
there are costumes
and free candy
as much as you can hold
there are smiles there is screaming
surprises galore
around every corner
there are pumpkins
carved and not carved
they are everywhere
and mazez with pumpkin patches
with carmel covered candied apples
american traditions

Pretend

pretnFor years she pretended
lived her life acting as if nothing ever happened
like there was nothing wrong.
fooling everyone
all those around her
she lived a lie.
on the outside she seemed so happy
so full of life
inside she was suffering
completely empty inside
hiding behind fake laughter
and fake smiles
she wore a mask
disguised herself
for protection
there was no going back.
no one would ever know who she really was
no one would ever get that close
weak she felt very voulnerable
like she was losing control
bruised and badly beaten defeated
she lost all hope
the light faded there was no way out
she was trapped
for all eternity, she gave up there was only darkness now,

Pain

there are good days
that seem great
they give me hope
make me believe things are different
that they have changed
then we have our bad days
the absolute worse
those days I wish I could end everything
my life I didn't matter I wish I could end it all just
so the fighting would go away
those days I feel helpless
out of control
hurt betrayed
so many emotions
life sucks and I want to just give up
and then I look at my children
and I cant be selfish and leave them behind
because I love them
and I want them to know that...
know that that feeling would never go away
or fade
it is unconditional
it will never ever go away
and I feel a little bit better
gain some strength
enough to pick myself and just go on
enough to get me through whatever was left before you would stop
then I would be okay
