The Last Kick of a Flying Horse, Not the Last Kick of a Dying Horse

- matric dance 2017

We are Ambassadors,
We are Ambassadors Embarking on a new journey,
Reaching out, towards the future
That is glittering like the sun
Its warmth melts resolutions of today
We could mold awards for tomorrow
Walking on a new track
Leaving better tracks for our brothers and sisters
The first 3 laps we've ran with fears
Now let's pause and oil up the gears,
Before hitting the lap that is the last
Destiny is not a precast
We kiss no frogs,
Excellence's delegates
We bite a bunch of disposals
2017 is ours or the hard way
Flocking for the future,
Becoming a rainbow on the color grey
Becoming the delight of the day
Sweeping the dreams in one place,
Not forgeting to keep more sweat on the face
Bitterness fading, eating sweetness, I call that being fruitful
It is in our hands to make the future beautiful
We only got one chance,
But before we can - let's have a dance!

My African Woman

My African woman,
I then title you something number one
To my mind, heart and soul
By whenever I introduce the thought of you in me
The rivers in my drainage basin flow not with water,
But milk, chocolate and honey of Africanism,
Strong and wild as a tropical cyclone
My African woman.

Through the heat wave,
Walking under the Sun's scorch and sear
Your dark melanin remained stave
dripping, Africa's own gold prettified clear.

Dark as the night sky,
But only you can, make the stars visible to the eye
You stimulate the Milky way with your darkness,
Your color on a fruit, channel sweetness.

You're an Africa Queen,
with or without a crown
The love for you, erupt from a volcano
cone, vibrates the ground, hit
the Earth with an asteroid
and pull like a black hole.

A black ocean you are
jumping and wide,
no being rides your tide
A Queen from afar, from Africa
You're my African woman.

Chemistry Female

Your chemistry mind
combine all known elements & matter
you speak physical & chemical reactions
your lips present all the phases of matter
you a group 8 element between your atoms there's no reactions
Low zone; phase of ice - temperature minus million degree Celsius around your little atomic heart core.

Acidic your pain was
Basic your happiness was.

Love Description

Love is a form of a seed
from high above,
Heaven

In the veins of men it flows
In the heart of men it grows

Impossible for it to germinate
in the presence of drought, floods,
tropical cyclones, and all natural disasters
known to men - hate

The water and light to sprout
To encounter is to devout
God shall make the soil in you
fruitful, fertile and prolific

Roses are red,
The sky is blue,
Leaves are green

Love is like a sword of fire
Produced through a furnace
A lion roars the strength of it
Heart be glazed with fear

Everybody has the bundle in them
But not everybody carries it
Because everybody is nothing
but shrinking violets

Roses symbolize it,
The thorns around it,
Cut deep like a razor
It's either you bleed
or feel more love

Love remains a seed
In my eyes, in the air entering my lungs
the blood flowing in my veins
And the thoughts painted on
my mind.

612018

blended family
in papers colored with
broken history crayons
of black and white
black boy run
people read love backwards
tongue bitten it bleeds evol
sun grows seeds evil
grew a tree together
but fruits are collected with
hate in the eyes
soul refrigerated
black boy shirtless
running the woods
of nature
shivering with poetry
a blanket of sonnets
he seeks
forefathers collected
wisdom
from ponds

Salt and Sugar

salt and sugar have
something in common
 appearance

but something uncommon
once they touch and melt
on the tongue

Just a Sonnet Ix

Not adequate soldiers to fight for tomorrow
There halt evil minded men who forethought of the past only
Ears agaze the voice strikes like lightning borrow
Chains on hands money credits downpress a man lonely
Freedom a black man cried for he received free doom
Breathless trees deforested air not tasty
A mosquito he became flip flapping out of the room
Hands of time chase him he remains shunning hasty
Call it the survival of the fittest in the jungle
Can he reign in romans' empire with luscious?
Poison in the air inhaled souls fisticuffs in the royal rumble
Will then men be redolent they swingeing unrighteous
Heart glazed and glittering with pain this a no more dream
The light is unseen there exist scathe to the ultralight beam
