Do You Mind

Doyoumind if I speak my mind?
A lot of cluttered thoughts in my mind.
Strange assumptions, the nerves, the gumptions.
Aggravated cells making me grumpy do you mind!
Feelings of hopelessness, old quotes, no faithfulness but do you mind!
Twisted realities, family, friends, and strangers fatalities, but do you mind!
Uncontrolled emotions, spewing scientific potions, E=mc square making thinner more gray hair but do you mind!
I can control this, you must know this, but you change so quick in an instant soon you'll know this, but do you mind!
Speaking two hundred words a minute, in a frenzy, no no let me finish, you won't well do you mind!
Different languages, speaking in tongues, thinking of trees we hung from, Oak wood with cherry finish, old thoughts we cherishing, stop the violence, we perishing, quick to settle, but do you mind!
Birthdays, temperature control, decisions that are powerful, it expands how far you allow it to, I don't know about you but I allow it to, so do you mind!
Messages from ages, freedom from cages, wow that last thought was outrageous, catching the vibes contagious, flipping through the pages, lost in all the mazes, this is amazing, but do you mind!

Wait For Great

Don't know how I'm making it but through it all I've sustained, from hurt, pain, and the agony of defeat I still remain.
Less financial gain yet have everything I need to maintain.

I'm not needy or greedy, my children are housed, clothed, and clean, not much we're needing. I can cook anything and everything from less so no doubt we're eating.

I've had family and friends disappear without a trace. Although we live in the same place there's a lot of space and they wonder why I have that look on my face.

My hair is nappy but I'm happy and content. Holding on turning grey getting thin just don't really know what's happening but I'm understanding and very content.

I'd give my last penny to any and many. I've gone through giving up threw my hand in and heard God whisper you're not finished.

Placed that crown upon my head because I am king made in the likeness of his greatness yet I'm falling short of his glory praying he's not forsaking.

I see the bigger picture I'll wait even if it means that I take the low road with a heavy load at a slow pace. My destiny awaits and for that I'm thankful and grateful not trifling and hateful.

I see where I'm headed and just because you don't mines is not your vision. Focus on you trust your intuition and open your mind then you to can be great. #Twan #Waitforgreat

Enlightenment

Whether it takes you days, months, or years, you'll get it.
Seems like it's never coming, patiently you waiting for it but, when the time is right, you'll get it.
Soon, you shrug your shoulders as if you don't care, having a blank stare, pacing the floor, opening the door, checking the mail, hoping you didn't fail, hiding the truth, waiting for it still not there but you'll get it.
Hard to find but you continue to search, over and over you rehearse what it's like when you have it in your grasp hiding the tears with a laugh you know it's near coming from afar yet you still bombard the thought of having it within your palm as you read psalms still not there but you'll get it.
Jotting notes from what you've learned running around in a frenzy from beginning to ending you've read the books many you've finished nothing overlooked lies you can't bare realizing this is unfair you end in prayer you stare up at the clouds still nothing there but you'll get it.
Wait hold up it's your time now life is looking fair seems like you know it's there but between all that you've learned it's hard to pick through truths in books out there.
One in a million you're chosen as you reflect on things learned you seem frozen in fear knowing all this time you've been waiting it's been inside where you hold dear just look within your heart you'll get it! #Twan #Enlightment

Yet

I'm encouraged to be courageous, yet I'm not afraid.
I'm lacking substance they say, yet they can't figure my sayings.
You should do things this way or that way they say, yet it speaks volumes the way I say it.
They say I have repetitive notions, yet I try not to repeat a thing.
I don't get what you're saying they say, yet they continue to read.
You're no Shakespeare they say, yet I'm still finding me don't want to be.
This stuff you're writing is gonna get you no where they say, yet I progress everyday.
Put some thought in your words they say, yet I thought of you when writing this.
Your words aren't inspirational they say, yet you inspire me with your critiques so yours are.
You need to do something else they say, yet every writing is a different topic.
You're on your way they say, yet I've already arrived.
They say a lot of things to bring you down, yet God says keep your head up and keep jotting your thoughts down! Because, I'm not done with you "Yet!" #Twan #Yet
