The Darkest Hour

Pain is the fire that lights up my heart but I still find myself shivering in the dark
Images of teardrops on a bathroom floor
Floods in my mind no one predicted the storm
A mind that came with the whispers of ghosts that slander trust
A heart that locked all its doors as it watched trust scream  for sanity as it got taken, beaten, and locked up.
Lies seduced truth when they said sanity was humanity
