Alyssa Lorette Poem
July's fire
Fireworks, stars
Sparkling, booming, bursting
Brightening that woebegone night!
The fourth day

Alyssa Lorette Poem
Scarlet letters lay beside time's wall - awaiting for it to shatter.
Quills write porcelain wishes, "perhaps the barricade shall turn into glass."
Olive branches yearn to one day lock together - to finally make it matter.
However, the dusty fence keeps flourishing each day to our cloudy behalf.
The fog from the enclosure has made our worlds black and white alas.

Alyssa Lorette Poem
Eve's bleeding as we kiss under its canvas.
Each caress melts my body like slippery butter.
Your chocolate lips have me crave its trances.
Every moan sets my soul into a flutter.
Hidden under Twilight's soft arms - we are glued.
I feel alive in your masculine physique.
Rubbing your hands on me, I get into the mood.
My lungs have surrendered and are now weak.
Perfumed in roses, you make me your martyr.
My knees plunge as you delicately paint my frame.
Ebony hair of yours wraps me in much ardor.
Breathe in the syrupy daze and I will scream your name.
Our starving beasts can't camouflage anymore.
In the flames that we drew, we'll finally let them roar.

Alyssa Lorette Poem
Saccharine Lyrics from the hummingbirds' coma
let her ballerina feet whirl in the grass.
Sleek chiffon of hers pet the bouquet's aroma
as fireflies puppeteer her dance class.
Dawn's aftertaste in her starts to amass.
Swan feathers in the lawn give her angel wings.
The Aubade is her halo in this blind light.
Evergreen brushes her aileron strings
while the serenade sets her into a flight.
Now a starlet in the garden of delight.

Alyssa Lorette Poem
Touch me with your heart's chiaroscuro!
Oxygen shall travel elsewhere; this is our waltz.
Understand that it's okay to trip; I don't need to be impressed.
Celebrate with me tonight as we rejoice in each other's lovely imperfections!
Honey, even if we fall, we'll stand through all odds together.

Alyssa Lorette Poem
I have denied the ocean's roar.
Still, I wait for you by the shore.
Two worlds connected by heartstrings.
Is this truly what patience brings?
My insight and logic at war.
I left but I cannot ignore.
You cannot wilt on this seafloor.
Despite the ground, your presence clings.
Rose in the sand.
The sun's blindness has made me sore.
All I do for you is adore.
Even if my universe swings.
Tell me, will you come if wind sings?
Don't leave me alone anymore.
Rose in the sand.

Alyssa Lorette Poem
The willow tree wrapped you in its dark embrace.
Bark had kissed your shell like a dagger.
Emerald leaves stitched a new grace.
Rain fell that day, tearful with its stagger.
You wanted to blend, but it made a trace.
This transparency you left made my world shatter.
May the doves make your soul fly once again dear.
My dreams want you to be adorned in much cheer.

Alyssa Lorette Poem
Love is actually humanity's gift.
It's what keeps our frail souls glued to existence.
When life fractures us, it lets our pieces shift.
All it wants in return is our persistence.
It kisses its acceptance in our brain's rift.
Truly, it's our only scrap of assistance.
We forget to apply it when we are sore.
If it's a present, then we should use it more.

Alyssa Lorette Poem
Golden gems bought Queen Vanity a plastic face.
Lost in lace and silky bubbles; she trod her kingdom.
Her head held high; she hummed with the blue jays as she paced.
Fumes of her Jasmine made them a victim.
'Twas moonlight, however, that melted her mask.
That bisque metal crown had nowhere else to bask.
In the limpid mirror, she couldn't host her masquerade.
All it could espy was more than what she displayed.

Alyssa Lorette Poem
Waterfalls flood my spirit and rouse
my amber eyes awake as I cry.
Butterflies weave a grin on my mouth
as I count these blessings passing by!
The pure azure sky crowns me with acceptance
while the sun hues me in luminosity.
Daffodils caress me with penance
just as the lime grass wraps me in a ditty!
This heart of mine wants to beat out
of my chest so it can grant its love.
Even through all of this silly doubt,
I was born to fly freely like a dove!
Shoot my wings, but despite you put me through,
life will continue to find its ways.
Right now, this is my beautiful time to
finally, live my journey with happy days!
