Depression Is

What is depression?
Depression is a war
It's a battle you have against yourself 
Every thought you have is a bullet more
Every word is a knife in you heart 
Every movement is a punch 
Depression is a thief it takes what you want first
Then it steals everything you have and love
Everything you wish for becomes nothing anymore
Every opportunity becomes a closed door
Depression is a murder it kills you inside and out
It makes you look in the mirror and want to hurt more
It's a nightmare every second is a living hell
Your to afraid to live
To afraid to move
To afraid to breathe
It makes everything to hard to bare
It's like an ocean
A great big sea of emotion
It makes you drown in your own thoughts
It's this never ending pain
This never ending circle of nothing 
It feels like nothing yet it hurts everything 
It's this never ending struggle
Depression takes away your light
It takes away the hope you used to have
There is no escape from it
It's a war you can not win 
You lose trying or end up dying 
It takes away your happiness 
It makes you feel emptiness 
Depression tips you from feeling 
It makes you numb
It stops you from eating
It stops you from sleeping
It stops your from moving
It sometimes stops you from breathing
It's the thing that makes you fall
Depression always will win
Depression is a war a war I can not win
Depression is a war 
One that makes you full of sin
Depression is a war 
one I can not win
Depression is a war
It's a battle you have against yourself
Depression is a war
One you can win one you will win
So yes your an angel
But it's not your turn to fly
So for now hold me tight
Stay away from the sky
Yes depression is a war
But it's one we will win
DEPRESSION IS A WAR
