Angela Green Poem
Pondering deep like a pond wishes to be when it has lost its ocean to the sea. Memories turn into mud as feelings of envy are all thats left to flood. Soon the sun sets over all that's wet and soaked in regret blessing it with a frozen death and a chance to pay its debt. its rebirth comes in the warmer season, blooming a life that now has a reason to exist without waves, currents or the company of the fish. Old memories die fast as the soul is determined to last beyond the damage from the past. The soul chooses to breed the new life that was freed when the pressure left and the ground beneath could finally breathe. Delicate is the earth when it first sees the light, vulnerable to the days so cold and the dark winter night. The pond stays strong until winter comes along, soon it's frozen enough to provide motherly love as it protects the new life from the elements from above. The summer soon melts the pond and the seeds start to grow, fed by the water flow of the pond as it disappears below the ground without a sound . the pond found purpose from it's destruction, it wasn't cursed after all. Beauty stood from its fall.
