Whore

Comforting self destruction
Ice thawed by blood
Soul torn apart
Heart trampled in the mud
Innocent little life
Trying to find its way
Child with no father
Cries the day away
Love without reason
Life without hope
See the blooming soul inside
Smell the burning dope
Pain that's been felt
Many times before
All because of one
Skanky little whore

Untitled

You can drive your fancy cars
Living it up like movie stars
While small children have nothing to eat
No place to live no light no heat
Hopeless drunks living like dogs
Passing out sleeping like logs
While you sip your fancy wine
Pretending everything is fine
But I know that you feel the guilt
And as you watch your garden wilt
Remember the little starving child
Lost in a world neither meek nor mild
Or the drunk stinking and ill
For the bottle he will kill
You wonder if the child ate
If his parents show love or hate
Is the drunk a friend or foe?
He's not himself he's sunk so low
You're not better than us all
You're still human you'll still fall
Don't forget us while you're great
We don't need anymore hate

Alcoholic

Your eyes are glazed
As if you're already dead.
I'm afraid that the bottle
Has finally gotten to your head.
You sit in your own filth,
And you don't even care.
Have you given up?
You don't even brush your hair.
I wish things could go back
To how they used to be.
Seeing you like this
Really eats away at me.
You swear that you're fine,
But your health is breaking down.
You're stuick in that bottle,
You're beginning to drown.
Let me help you back up,
Give me your hand...
Tell me what's wrong,
I'll try to understand.

Good Morning Sweet Angel

Good morning, sweet angel.
I hope your dreams were sweet.
We have a busy day today,
Lots of new friends to meet.
Good morning, sweet angel.
Open those pretty eyes.
Your smile is as sweet
As ten million apple pies.
Good morning, sweet angel.
The birds are startting to cheep.
It's time to wake up now,
And stop counting sheep.

Not My Type

You're not my type,
But you make me smile.
I think I want you to
Stay for a while.
You're bad for me
In a lot of ways,
But I think I want you
Around for a couple days.
People are starting to wonder
What exactly is going on.
They'd be shocked if they knew
What happens when they're gone.
Let's keep this little secret,
Don't listen to anyone.
Nothing can be wrong
With having this much fun.

Goodnight Sweet Angel

Good night, sweet angel
And may your dreams be sweet.
I'll tuck you in warm and snug
On your soft flannel sheet.
Good night, sweet angel.
Close your pretty eyes.
Dream dreams of birds and bunnies
Under deep blue skies.
Good night, sweet angel.
Have a peaceful sleep.
We'll meet again tomorrow,
When the birds begin to cheep.

Unaware

Lover lays beside me
As I keep my tears from sight
Thinking of the battle
That I haven't the heart to fight
If only he'd shut his mouth
And open up his ears
I'd tell him how I feel
Would he still dismiss my fears?
My pain remains insignificant
As night grows into day
I only wish he'd understand
What I'm trying to say

Rb Ghetto

Yes, I am a Native.
See my brown skin, my dark hair.
Come walk through my reserve,
Learn the truth, if you dare.
See this house,
This nice, big one right here?
Here an abused child sits alone,
Afraid to even shed a tear.
Shall we continue our walk?
See that house, with the bright light?
Here a young boy watches his mother drink,
Waiting for her to start a fight.
Stop...Hear that noise in the woods?
Oh, it's just some kids smoking a joint.
Have you had enough truth yet?
Have you even begun to get the point?
Remember that lonely, abused child,
The little one so full of fear?
Well now he beats his kids and wife,
Then he celebrates with a beer.
And the young boy with his drunk mother
Now sits alone, wishing he would die.
As he punches hole into his wall
He wonders, would his mother even cry?
What about those little pothead kids?
Most of their lives are wrecks:
Jabbing needles into their arms,
Spending all of their welfare cheques.
We've come to the end of our tour.
You see, life on the rez isn't that great.
The people here no longer feel love,
Our home has become a land of hate.

Sunset

What is the sunset
Without the sunrise?
What is my life
Without the love in your eyes?
How is it that you still love me
When I push you away?
Do you love me that much?
Do you really want to stay?
I know that I am cruel,
And my words cut like a knife,
But my heart is only for you.
I need you in my life.
Is there any point in asking?
Do you ever wonder why?
Why do you still love me
When I make you want to cry?
My love, I'm so sorry.
I love you more than you know.
Just give me one more chance
And watch our love grow.

Seedling

Given love and hope and warmth and light
The seedling can begin its fight
Defy the elements trying to survive
Trying so hard despite its short time alive
Your love and hope and warmth and light
Is all that gets me through the night
I would surrender without you by my side
Drowned by all of the tears I cried
Given hate and despair and darkness cold
The seedling never even grows old
Brutally defeated by the frigid frost
Cold winds blow another life is lost
My hate and despair and darkness cold
Is closing my heart making me old
Overwhelmed by all the time I've lost
My soul is a land of tundra and frost
