"my Telephone"

I thought I was right but I was wrong,
I needed someone to talk to but there was no one home.
I picked up my telephone to call up a friend,
His line was busy and I knew I had sinned.
I thought if I got drunk that everything would be alright,
But then I realized that wasn't the answer.
I couldn't run and I couldn't hide,
So, I opened up my door so "GOD" could come inside.
I told him the things that I had done,
He said confess and your sins will be forbid.
I got down on my knees and prayed every day,
I knew if I had confessed that the "LORD" would make a way.
So whenever I feel myself thinking of doing something wrong,
I pick up my telephone and call collect.
I don't have to worry about the bill or someone being at home,
"GOD" is my telephone and he's always at home.........AMEN!!!!!!!!

A Dear Friend

I think about us often and how perfectly we blend,
And share the simple joys of having a dear friend.
I think about tomorrow and how nice it's going to be,
Always knowing that you'll be there to stand beside me.
Do you think about us and the way we love to share things?
But being there for one another and seeing all the happiness that it brings,
It's all the joy to me wowing what we have seen.
Do you stop every now and then, and say ,Oh how very lucky I've been to find a 
dear friend like you!

"a New Start"

I can't erase what I have done,
There's no place that I can run.
Life's hard but it goes on,
The time of the past is forever gone.
I can no longer sit and dwell,
I must go and leave my lonely shell.
go on with my life and start new,
Live my days as if they were my last, without looking back and forgetting about 
the past.

I want to find the perfect words to make you realize how much I need and love you,
But words continue to elude me.
What would they be?
Something poetic I'm sure, heart felt, and out of the ordinary.
I'm afraid it's no use,
Every time I look at you, the words always come out the same.
