So What, a Couple's Quarrel.

"Where did you put it?,"I don't know,it must be over there"
"It isn't I just told you!,"Well I don't really care!"
"You said you put it up somewhere, now where the hell is it?"
"Ive looked, and searched every bloody where, and i still cannot find it".
"So what, what else is new,you always say the same",
"As if ,that on this planet earth, there is no-one else to blame".
"Well I really need it,you know I do,I'd appreciate the help".
"Now,that's better, talk to me nice, and watch out for your bloody self".
"Here it is,I told you it was,why don't you listen to me?"...
"Sometimes, you really amaze me,it's as if you could'nt see".
"Well I'm sorry,I really am,but I'm kind of in a rush";
"Shh,don't say anything, please don't speak,I wish you would just hush."
"Well,Im off then,I'll see you later,I'll be home in time for tea".
"So what",I say,whatever you reckon,Thank God,now there's only just me.

To My Daughter-In-Law,Aimee-Leigh.

To My Daughter-in-Law,Aimee-Leigh.

What a beautiful name for a wonderful girl,
Who sets my heart in a whirl;
As pretty as a picture,a heart so big and true,
With a love so pure and perfect, sent out to me and you.
Contrite and sweet,proud and strong,
A melody,to a beautiful song;
Your always there, to show your love,
Just like an angel, sent from above.
It does my heart such pleasure,
Your ways I truely treasure;
As in this life, you find your way,
And also help others, along the way.
God saw my heart,He knew my need,
For the daughter-in-law,that I did plead;
I thank Him for each day,for your place in my life,
And,that my son,found a beautiful wife.
Your welcomed,in this family of mine,
Forever and always,till the end of time;
Thankyou so much, for your love and your care,
And for being my daughter,so true and so fair.
I'm priveledged to know you,as a daughter and a friend,
And to know,you are some-one,on whom I can depend;
God bless you today,and forever more;
And,know that I love you,of that you can be sure.

The Wedding.

The Wedding.

The Pastor stood there waiting, all clothed in his atire
The Organist played the Wedding tune,so sweet,to be admired.
The Groomsman and his Best man, were waiting patiently
As the congregation, sat in seats, adorned so beautifully.
Then came the children,in the lead, with rings and petals baring
They were dressed so pretty ,and so cute, their beauty was unsparing.
Next the Bridesmaids, and the Matron of Honour,as pretty as can be
Then, last but least,as was expected,my Daddy escorting me.
The music stopped, all took their places,as quickly as they could
To see the start of a celebration,as perfect as it should.
Words were spoken, prayers were said, then came the Wedding vows
As this couple stood before God and man,as perfect as precious flowers.
A budding young couple ,full of life and great love
Sent from heaven, and the good Lord above.
The crowd cheered,as the couple kissed,to seal the vows they made
A kiss of love,a kiss of lasting, which never was to fade.
The rice was thrown, the car was ready,to wisk the couple away
To go and celebrate, the promise they made,on this, their Wedding Day.

School's Out.

School's Out.

"Hooray,Hooray",the children say,as they all run out the gate,
All of them racing, not looking bak,not wanting to be late.
School's out,you see,and their so glad, they've waited for this time,
It's been so long, time's driffted by,and now the bell's do chime.
Scurrying,and rushing,grabbing books,bags,and pens,
Almost like a chicken farm, wild geese, and flocks of hens.
Their all so very happy, that this day has finally come,
It seem's they've waited for so long,at least I'm sure,for some.
Laughing,scurrying,yelling,running to and fro,
Typical of children, that would be right, always on the go.
Sighs,from parents,releif and despair
But from the children, not even a care.
Hollidays now,sleep in's,and stay's out,
Plenty of time, there is now,to get out and about.
Plans for week-ends,for days, through the week,
As heads get together, for suggestions, they seek.
"Oh,God",say the parents,"God,please give us strenght",
As plans, come together,at any great lenght.
"Chill",say's the parents,be strong and be brave,
Hopefully,the children,will stay good,and behave.
Such are the feelings, all thoughts, that run wild,
School's out,for the children,Oh,God,please bless the child.

To My Daughter,Jenna.

To My Daughter,Jenna.

The way you smile, the things you say,the way you make me feel,
You sure do make me happy,so proud,it feels just so unreal.
You are so pretty,so very precious,an angel, here on earth,
I've loved you always my pretty one, ever since your birth.
You fill my life with happiness, even on my saddest days,
In things that you do,things that you say,in oh, so many ways.
I truely am so very blessed,to have a chid like you,
You are so warm,so very lovely,so honest and so true.
You have such special qualities,so touching and so deep,
You can make me laugh and sad,and you can make me weep.
You can make me happy, when I'm feeling blue,
And I just want for you to know,my Daughter,I love you.

You.

You.

Whenever I am lonely,whenever I am blue
I like to spend my days, just thinking about you.
The way you love, the way you care,
The way you help, and the way you share.
Your laughter and you'r smile, your loving gentle touch,
I really love you truely,so very,very much.
Your hair,your eyes,your nose,your face,
There's not another, who can take your place.
The way you walk, the things you do,
There is no other, quite like you.
Your always there,to lend a helping hand,
You never expect, and you never demand.
Your always ever grateful, for all it's love and bliss,
Almost like the feeling,of a very first kiss.
You fill my heart with gladness, and of love divine,
I'm glad that you are in my life, and in this heart of mine.
Remember, always,I love you,no matter where you are,
I'm always thinking of you, wether, your near or far.
If ever I should leave this world,no matter where I go,
I want you always to remember, how much I love you so.
God bless you now,and forever more, and never ever fear,
Because,my darling,I'll be close,and always ever near.

Tiny Little Baby.

Ten little fingers,ten little toes,
Tiny little eyes, and a cute little nose.
A little movement here, and a little kick there,
A sweet and tiny being,so handle me with care.
I know your feeling bigger, and I'm really truelly sorry,
Not long now,i'll be with you soon,so you don't have to worry.
Now don't forget to feed me,and I'd like a drink also,
I know we'll make it,just give it a while,and then we'll have to go.
I hope you got the nappies, and the powder and the cream,
I'm not particuarilly fussy,as long as it's not vasoline.
I really like the blue colour, the pink is pretty too,
I guess it's not my choice yet though,I know it's up to you.
A furry little bunny,or a cuddly teddy bear,
A bottle and a dummy,I'm sure that just seems fair.
Now don't forget to be ready,I'll try to let you know,
When I'm tired of this little cubby, cause then it's time to go.
Don't let those people hurt me,I'll do the best I can,
To come when you are ready, and the pain you cannot stand.
A few more pains,a push or two,or maybe three or four,
A little bit of ice and water, and then maybe even some more.
Oops,I think I'm ready,it's crowded now in here,
Just one more push, now don't be scared, there's nothing here to fear.
Aah,that's better,here I am,it feels so good outside,
I might even hang around a bit,as there's nowhere left to hide.

What a Week.

"What A Week"

What a week I've had,it's been so hard,I don't know where to start
I did'nt think I'd make it,fair dinkum,I mean it,I thought I'd fall apart,
So many mixed emotions,a roller coaster ride
Not one that I could simply take, peacefully in my stride.
II wondered how I made it,I'm pretty sure I did
And if I have'nt,and I'm not there,It's because I ran and hid.
The cooking and the cleaning, the shopping and the bills
No wonder Doc has prescribed for me,so many differant pills.
The weather was'nt fair at all,it's mood would change like mine
Although I could'nt read it at all,I never got a sign.
The dogs been barking madly,my son's been restless too
I really thought I'd lose it badly,I'd be better off with the flu.
There's been no phone calls,and that's okay
No lettersin the mail,no-one to say good-day.
They say no news is good news, and I've always believed that's so
But when you've had a week like this,I'm not quite sure I know.
So now,I've winged and wigned so much, about the week I've had
And I don't want another one like this, especially one so bad.

I Love You.

I Love You.

I love you with my heart,I love you with my soul,
I love you with my spirit, because you make me whole.
I love you with my body,I love you with my mind,
I love you with every part of me,it cannot be defined.
I trust you with my wants,I trust you with my needs,
I trust you to support me,with all my thoughts and deeds.
I've never felt so happy,I've never felt complete,
You meet me in my darkest hours, you are so true and sweet.
There never are enough words,to share with you my love,
I only know it's sent to you, from my being, and especially God above.

Memories.

Memories.

Remember only yesterday, when life it seemed so fine
It seems like only yesterday, when you were really mine,
Remember how we loved to laugh and sing and joke all day
But when I think about it now,it seems so far away.
The skies, they always seemed so blue, the grass was always green
The world,it seemed such a beautiful place, such as I had never seen,
When waking up, was so exciting,to yet another day
We never had to plan or strive,it just turned out that way.
With songs in our heart, and love in our eyes,we loved and really lived
It really felt so good back then,I remember,it really did,
What ever happened to it all,I try so hard to see
How could it have ever ended,I thought it was meant to be.
For the times we shared, the fun we had,the love I used to know
I have nothing now that's left of them, only memories to show,
That I once lived, and I once loved, and had recieved it in return,
The fire in my heart,it's never burnt out,the flame inside still burns.
