The Silence of Winter Night

"The Silence of Winter night"

Under the silence of a winter night.
The fields once loomed with corn, now gloom with eerie light.
There is something daunting, about a midnight's winter field.
A night lit up, with a full moon arose.

Even the elegance of a rose,
Could not stand a winter's night.
A Knight stood towering over the field.
Standing guard at a moments notice.
He takes in comfort, at the silence of the night.

The Silence of a Winter night, offers solace to the Knight.
He reflects upon a time, when a field of corn gloomed red.
The full moon, reflecting upon him, and offers judgement.

For the Knight, knows of his true retribution.
He stands silently, embracing for what is his.
The silence of a Winter Night, with an eerie light.

He wishes he could forget, but still owes God a debt.
He knows that this solace night, will be his judgement, his retribution,
and his remorse.

The Winter night grasps and clutches all within,
But slowly, his soul wear thins.
Thus begins, the acceptance of winter's solace.
