The world is but a corrupt place
Full of pain and desperation
Many too scared to show their face
Everyone shaking their head in frustration
Destruction and hate everywhere
Everyone says life isn't fair
Kindness and love cease to exist
Haters and evil seem to persist
Waiting for someone to save the day
Realizing there will be no replay
People are dying, crying for a hero
While all we do is give them zero
Too busy thinking of what we need
Failing to be anyone's trusty steed

Always filling me with dread
Why do you keep haunting me?
Leave me be already
Causing chaos in my mind
You're so very unkind
Wreaking havoc all the time
Living a life so sublime
Little monsters in my head

While your having fun
I'm trying not to run
Why can't you see
What you're doing to me
Little monsters I'm through
You're not welcome here
Stay away from here
