The Reminders

In a place of neverending winter,
People were hoping for the fire,
Its warmth and magic wonder,
Made their souls shine brighter.

Everyone wandered alone
Through that warmless realm,
Seeking for their piece of flame,
Hoping they have right to claim it.

After a long lonesome wandering
Lost seeker came across two pilars.
Beneath the pilars there were only a few footsteps,
Indicating there weren't much finders.

Curisoity took control over every sense,
Upon the plates he rested his eyes.
Eyelids spread influenced by cognition
As the relief revealed its definition.

"The red flower only appears
When the whole universe breaks your knees,
When time as sculpture seems,
When your heart thunder hears.

But beware, for fire will not survive by itself.
You are the one giving it life,
You are the one giving it death,
You will take its last breath.
Bring it branches, bring it thatch,
Even the little things, like a single match.
Only then flicker will burst into flames
Revealing its true nature and power.
You shall feel its pleasurable waves
And your heart they'll cover."
