To Appreciate Me

Foolish is the heart that beats,
To a separate beat,
Foolish is the song you sing,
Not giving praise to thee,

For it is God who created,
The Heavens and the Earth,
And it is in your God,
You will find your worth,

I know not how or why,
But God still shelters me,
Saying please come child,
I will cover thee,

I know now I could not see,
The wilderness for the trees,
Now there is only one,
Who can set me free,

A trail of tears he follows,
With my head in hands,
He lifts me from the hollow,
So that I can stand,

He tells me child don't fear,
For it was in my plan,
You must bare the burdens,
To appreciate the lamb.

His Love It Wll Be There

I want to walk a quiet road,
With happiness each day,
I want to have a great big smile,
Each time I look his way,

I want to know I am the world,
Deep within his eyes,
I want to know his every breathe,
From me does arise,

I want to wake each morning,
Happy to be here,
Knowing that my lover,
He will always care,

I want to grow old together,
In a maze of love,
Knowing that our life,
Has been kisses and hugs,

A gentleness that warms me,
Knowin that he cares,
And until the day I die,
His love it will be there.
