The Cry of the Soldiers

The Cry Of The Soliers

The cry of the soldiers I hear so loud
and so clear, praying that the day light would
     soon appear.
I say to my self how lucky I am to have these
men and women risking their life so I can keep mine.

As they do battle from far and wide I pray to god
to keep them alive I wonder to my self how I would feel if I were in
their shoes not knowing if I was going to becoming
home or stay there until things were through

We take so much for granted the freedom we have,
that we forget the men and women out their,

So as I lay down at night and it peaceful and calm,
then I hear that cry of that soldier in my mind,
I place my hand over my heart and pray to god
to wipe the tears from their eyes.

So to this day ill never forget the cry of the
soldier that led me to this,

I take off my hat and salute you my friends
for standing tall and not giving in,

The cry of the soldiers ill never forget.,
