Paratrooper

As I call my wife and children to say goodbyes.
I tell them do not fear for I am with them always.
I leave the booth to take the most terrifying adventure yet.
As I enter the plan I see men All of them allies.
The plane shakes and jumps as it takes off it was all quite a haze.
We are now over them the bombardment has begun such a quartet.
The air itself feels like it will tear at any second.
Then... we jump 1, 2, 3 and then me something hit me a deep graze.
I hit the ground softly, un-clip and begin to run I must not fret.
I meet up with my company but were pinned within a millisecond.
This is what my grandfather told me before he died in that minute.

The Day I Met Her

It was a day that I will never forget.
She seemed like the epitome of beauty.
The way she laughed, smiled and the way she looked.
The way she walked was that of minuet.
On many day she resembled that of Aphrodite.
But than again she was already hooked.
A few months passed I had noticed she was sad.
I decided to ask how she was I mean, me little old me!
Her heart was broken she said I decided to invite her to dinner it was already booked.
We dated for a few years after that and may I say she changed her name to McPhee.

How Deep Is My Love

My love for you is thicker than honey.
My love for you is deeper than the ocean.
My love for you is greater than space itself.
When I'm around you I always feel funny.
When I think of you time stops, frozen.
I wouldn't give this love up for any wealth.
And yet these words mean nothing but sadness to me.
For another wants you and he is greater than I.
And so I weep for this love I have so deep.
So I contemplate whether or not I should be fodder for a tree.
I look at you and say I'm fine that I'm okay with sharing but it's a lie.

War In the Trenches

I awake but was truly dazed.
I'm fumbling now through debris.
As they land now with gentle thuds.
Be it I might have gone deaf I was still unfazed.
This fight might be my last fight I will not flee.
I run through these mazes, I see men die, another rose, buds.
To me the world all but seemed quite solemn.
The men under me don't understand my plea.
My gun seems to have no effect am I shooting duds?
But as my men died I did my best to slalom.
But this story isn't nice I still ended up with the spuds.

My Feelings

As I walk a Black Sea of turmoil and misfortune.
I see not the lights of the loved ones I once new.
I see them as empty shells that were fired by life's gun.
But even though I walk this dismal ocean 'tis not mean I have no fortune.
With them come the life and souls that I new but have yet flew.
With new faces that enter this darkness I do all but shun.
The new lights that though they may guide they do not quell the dark inside.
There are some that when I see I feel better in a way that make me normal.
There are some that make an anger of midsummer storm attack my ocean.
Though I will not feel it for deep within this ocean I do reside.
For this is something I hide well within though it may seem abnormal.

Solitude

I live in a barren wilderness.
Thoughts of those I miss are few.
Nothing but the midnight sky to watch.
For leaving them behind I have no bitterness.
Although this world all but feels like deja vu.
For this existence is but a splotch in mine reality.
Some of my previous life's are coming clear.
All of these memories will soon accrue.
Upon a greater reality of one I will try to drink away with hard scotch.
Be it through this life or the next I am alone for that Is my fear.
Upon my next dream I hope I will be with them again mine Bauch.

Trifled Love

I walk a fine line of love and misery.
As quiet sadness pervades my thought.
And the love I have is a gamble upon my sanity.
But I know this love is no ficklery.
This feeling is more powerful than any drought.
It's the only thing that brings out my humanity.
I hurt knowing I won't be able to be with you.
But at the same time I want to make you mine.
All I want to do is give up, since what can I, offer you.
At night I cry knowing that I've finally found true love just to let it go like dew.
Because I'm not good enough for you I never will be not in a 100 years time.

The Locked Mind

He walks and he talks but all without feeling.
He sleeps and he dreams but in a broken mind.
He hurts and he breaks not understanding the implications.
They dance and they love his emotions are concealing.
He runs and hides in his mind blind.
She sits and she cries from the accusations.
She try's to to console him to understand him.
He tries to release and show.
He fears he will lose her he fears she will not love anymore.
They talk and walk with and all new vim.
Having broken through his throe.

Dreams

To the lonely sleepers, I am a shadow.
To the hard workers, I am a reprieve.
To the young, I am mischievous.

I have seen many a man, fall before me and wallow.
For I have created worlds, they could hardly conceive.
Though to all in this world I am ambiguous.

To the lovers, I am bonded connection.
To the dreamers, I am a shooting star.
To the old, I am memories long forgotton.

I cause many in this world to, pause for reflection.
No matter what it may be a dream, is no scar.

Colorless White

A man walks through a winter wasteland.
A barren memory of sorrow and regret.
A quiet prison, forced to wander and sulk.
Hes lost and forgotten within his dreamland.
As he tries to pay his blood debt.
But he fails in his duty and all he does is skulk.
He falls He can't stand He’s frozen by a broken promise.
The white starts to encase him spreading up his limbs.
But he breaks free, He can't give up, He can't die.
But he gives up He let's it get to him, He uses hyoscyamus.
His soul leaves him flowing over the rims.
