Maybe

It makes sense to want to know what comes next, but its hard to say if tomorrow we'll make it another day. I see why and how my hand still isn't taken, it only sits there and waits for that one moment. My hand is left, my heart is right, my mind is in confusion as it speaks full righteousness. These three aspects form a connection and I conclude that maybe we aren't made to become two. Maybe you are just a lesson that I have to learn from, because as of now I only experience suffocation to its full potential. Wanting to breath but I can't. Wanting to soar far, but I'm still here. Wanting to be someone else. Maybe someone who is part of you, but I'm still me. I'm still part of my side, when all I really want is to be part of you. Forgetting what it meant to be intertwined with you. I'm tired of fighting the wrong fight, maybe our fight for love just can't be. I'll leave you and you'll leave me. None of this makes sense now but later it will be. It was never a mistake to take a shot at love, it was the knockout we never knew was coming.
