You Found Me

You Found Me

The wind blows with a fury
branches cracking up above
storm of the century
on Her hands tiny gloves

forward She pushes
rain pelting Her face
seeking refuge in bushes
Her heart beating apace

a glowing light in the distance
begs Her to proceed
but with no assistance
she stumbles and scrapes Her knees

brown almond eyes raised to the sky
blood seeping through white stockings
fresh tears begin to flow from Her eyes
She hugs Her shins,starts rocking

suddenly where once there was light
a dark shadow had begun to grow
all She can do is hug her legs tight
closes Her eyes she does not want to know

the shadow comes nearer
a human form it now takes
She see's him now clearer
no sound does She make

your safe now he says eyes quiet and kind
holds out to her his hand
he reaches the place that is deep in her mind
pulls her out and helps her stand

don't fear little one I was sent to you
never more will you look for the light
I will see you through all that you do
and no longer will life be a fight

the tiny girl in her heart now skips
no longer feeling the pain
eager to continue on lifes little trip
never alone again.

In her Heart she will always be
indebted to this one
in his hand he held the key
and led Her to the sun.

Imagine

Imagine a mouth that spoke only love
and discussed the realms of peace
Imagine a world that stood above
the violence that does never cease

Imagine if the cost of peoples lives
weren't measured in black gold
Imagine that sick pleasure wasn't derived
from the bloodshed yet to unfold

Imagine that the borders were suddenly erased
and no one could lay claim to chit
Imagine how many parliamentary big wigs
would surely slit their wrists

Imagine different times in your life
where there wasn't some war going on
Imagine that you could control all the strife
would you stop it, would you make it all gone?

Imagine the world now as it is
controlled by what, and by whom
Imagine that it hasn't come to this
and all is not lost in doom

Imagine We can determine exactly how this will end
by treating others how we'd like to be treated
Imagine the consequence is just gaining a friend
and not just the feeling of being defeated

Imagine.....

What If

What If I loved you and you loved Me back
our hearts conjoined as one
and What If then those hearts were attacked
would that love then be undone..

What If all that was contrived in our heads
were imaginary pieces of truth
What If all that was never said
were daydreams from our youth

What If you could dry a childs tear
with only a stroke of your thumb
What If you could make them live without fear
would you live by Whatever may come

What If you could pick them up,
instead of kick them while they are down
What If lIfe weren't so corrupt
that What goes around comes around

What If lIfe was meant to be
exactly What it is
What If you were meant to see
exactly What you missed

then truly What If would mean more
than it does today
because in the end cannot be ignored
What If wont go away

Sometimes

Sometimes in life there comes a one
Who brightens all tomorrows..
a one who bring about the sun
and wipes away all old sorrow

His lap a place of refuge..
in which she cuddles up and hides
his love is no illusion
protects her from all whom stand outside

Their love hath stood the test of time
their souls never to part
for he has taken her heart the extra mile
and forever burned his mark

Some may think her love a dream..
almost to good to be true
but sometimes when life is worst it seems
Yours will come and search for you..

Do They Care

Do they care that others walk for days
for only a glimpse of food
feet blistered and torn, with eyes of grey
dead babies clutched at their wombs

Do they care for the wee little faces
whom will speak of horrors on this night
will they take them from these places
love them and lead them from their plight

Do they care that lands are holy
Do they care that hearts are pure
Do they care their lives are lowly
as a common two bit whore

Indeed it is to wonder
what has become of mankind
in His image we have plundered
spewing hatred from our minds

The times again will change My friends
I can taste it in the air
this world is ours for us to mend
question is Do they care....
