Countdown

I can’t fully explain the feeling I have inside
It’s driving me crazy because 
You seem to hypnotize me life.

There are only a few more days left
for us to finally meet
No more messages to wait
No more messages to read
No more headphones to use and
No more crazy and intimate chats exchange.

So the countdown begins….
Hurry home for the fireworks to start.
I can’t wait to finally see your handsome face
And give you a warm embrace
I can’t wait to hold your hands and
Keep you by my side day and night
Until we need to part.

Time

Tick tack, tick tack as I watch my clock
Waiting for the time until you get back.
19 hours without hearing your voice
Brings so much torture but I have no choice.
I wish I could have done more
So you didn’t have to soar
And leave my melancholy heart to a roar.

Thank You

Before I met you
It was just me, an empty life.
No one to care, 
No one to share,
No one to love,
With the exception of my child.

I’ve accepted the fact
That it is only I and no one else
To depend on.
I had no complaints or qualms
And I was moving on with life.

But one day you came along
The kindness of your heart,
The beauty of your soul,
The serenity you provide
Has turned my life around.

Thank you for bringing color to my life,

New Beginnings

It all began on of the 3rd day of July
When I saw your request and opted to reply.
I didn’t know what to expect and 
I didn’t know how to react
Until the man on the other end
Eventually becomes a special friend.

Day after day
He tells me how he feels, 
Day after day
He makes me feel special
And day after day
I longed to hear his voice
I longed to hear his heart
I longed for those sweet nothing messages

But one day
Because of my insecurities and 
Perhaps my emotional instability
I didn’t realize that I was already hurting this man.
Until he decided to end what could have really been 
Something wonderful and beautiful.

I’m new to this but it is still not an excuse
I ended up hurting the man that that could have been the one.
My heart stops beating for a while,
I felt the pain of losing him
But what else can I say except sorry and goodbye.

Just when I thought I lost him
He suddenly came back to my life
I was filled with joy and my heart became alive.
I am now ready to face my fears
I am now ready to feel the joy of life
I am now ready to face life with him for I know
This is God’s way of saying
Get ready for a new and wonderful beginning.

My day may not be complete
If I don’t hear from you
But my heart is always complete
Because of the love that I have for you.

No matter whether we are near or far
The love that we have for each other

Often times I know I’m difficult
But you’re always there to adjust and understand.
When things are getting better and I’m much happier
I tend to hold back and become afraid 
But you’re always there to adjust and understand.
Never was a day that we don’t communicate no matter the distance
We dream, we laugh, we share, we pray
Yet I still have little doubts each day
But you’re always there to adjust and understand. 
After all these, I am now beginning to realize
I should live and let go of all the fears inside
Give this love a chance to grow and survive and that 
It should no longer just you to always adjust and understand
But both of us as one to adjust and understand.
