Sally Connors Poem
Two sisters lived on a lonely hill.
One was loud and the other was still
One raged and swore, one silently wept
Chaos reigned in the house they kept
One day the silent one walked to the river
Thinking only of the peace it would give her
To float in the water, to float forever
So thought the girl at the foot of the river
Two sisters lived on a lonely hill
One lives there now and she always will
The other left, she had no choice
She finally learned to use her voice.
