The Sound of Suicide

People, looking like ants scurrying down below
Nobody see's me, nobody knows
The pressure I feel, and how I'm alone
A whole world full of people, and not one notice me
On the edge of a skyscraper, Right on the edge
As broken as one could possibly be
The sound of suicide is silence
It's as simple as a jump or a click on the trigger of a gun
Suicide, silent, if it's done right
Here I go, lifting my foot up high
Losing my balance upon the edge
I put my foot back on the ledge
I close my eyes
Take a deep breath
I open my eyes for one last time
I say goodbye
And then I jump.

Holiday- a Children's Poem

We are on holiday
And it's been a great day
So much fun and games
The park with the swings
And in the arcade finding pennies
Swimming and splashing
Eyeing prizes in the arcade
And imagining winning
And then happily eating
It's been a great morning

Out for a drink
And maybe air hockey
Getting dressed
but can't wait to go out and run around
So your finally ready for a great night out
With family, friends and dancing
Games and maybe a little prize at the end

Finally tired
It's been a great night
But now it's time to go home
so when you get in bed
Rest your little heads
Close your tired eyes
And dream a dream of laughter and joy
Dreaming of the next day
And thinking
'I can't wait

Hi

She was my bestfriend
But a fight set us astray
Every night i dream of her floating away
Until one night she was eventually gone
And i could only run
I ran out of time but i won't give up
It's now been a week since we, in a way, broke up
She is still floating away a bright, tiny dot
The next day i apoligise
The same night i can make out her face
I chase her in my dreams but she just runs away
I take a rest, try to talk
But like a stubborn child, she don't budge
I feel It's a miracle she is still in my vision
Im running out of breath
and of time
Restless in dreams, running
And falling asleep every lesson
Maybe i should just talk to her
Tell her how sorry i am
But i will probably just stutter
You'r with new friends and i'm all alone
But it doesn't really matter
It pains me when i glance at you
and you don't glance back

We had to write poems in an english lesson
I made a massive effort
While you talked to your new friends
My poem was about me and you
I hoped you would remember
The memories and the constant banter
But you didn't even smile
Not even a glance
You just looked down
I know it pains me but maybe it's just over
I have tried my best
But maybe thas not good enought
I stare at my phone in dismay
thinking you will never talk to me again
But it's a message on the screen
That changed everything
And it was the most simple thing
But it was her which made it special
And i read it, it said.. "Hi"
