Anna Kelley Poem
From the first shots of the Revolutionary War,
To the invention of the light bulb and Sonar,
My people have been fighting for beliefs, hopes, and dreams.
No matter what that is, if they work hard and give 100%,
They are changing the world, their time not unwisely spent.
Spreading from shining sea to shining sea,
Encouraging the success of any living thing,
I wave to represent those who fought most gallantly,
who sacrificed so that I whatever you may be dreaming
can be turned in the realest of realities.
