The next step, you wouldn't decide
a playback know it all fall out
forget a side of comfort, I'll drink it straight
but can I breathe?
Nothing can complicate my compass
gothic golden statues so fake
maiden's dance free from soldiers
but why can't I breathe?
honestly we promised
if we keep comfort lost
a world of manic mayhem shatters
I'll always have the rain
It can suffocate my endless window stain
Jaded swirls of thicker soup
Loving falls deeper, free of running side
ways through my imaginary loop
a pool drowning baby float
a mess created heavenly breaths

a selfless child holding press release
Im gunna fall apart, impress second self

All I've done is wait for this
You walk back into my life, did i have to wait
I can hide my sarcasm well
Apparently so can you
There is a gap between us, well
is it clear to close
A wall was built to close you out
some how, I told you so, seems to click
when all i do is be a friend
a respect i thought was equal
i can go away and hurt, or stay and be hurt
cant you be the decider
Grow the .... up
We are just loosing a friendship
you are all grown up
its called pride now swallow
you will see how quickly things change
I know im certainly not perfect
we can hold hands till we grow strong
but i know I'll want to let go
There is a gap between us, well
is it clear to close
A wall was built to close you out
some how, I told you so, seems to click
when all i do is be a friend
A fight can last forever
its a battle of right and right
I can scream as loud as you, but you can hit a larger hole
Or you can break the heart that loves you
I can give two choices
leave and have an empty hole
Or change and make it better
I cant take this any longer

Im catching the end credits of a life so strange
cant we rewind to the beginning
where did I put the remote?
well i guess, its just the little things
I know i cant just sit and reminis my happy dreams
making things go forward its what im best at
it seems the things that have brought me here
are just crawling around
wanting me to fall
Its definatly not my choice to stay
but it is my choices that change my way
just waiting for my "time of life"
Im feeling short of stable
