A Meandering Stream

Have you ever thought about a stream slowly meandering
through a misty meadow?
Life is sometimes like this, where we flow along taking the
bends of the stream in stride…never really getting out of
control…but never really getting anywhere either..
There are times where the world comes at us quickly, the rushing
currents forcing us through rocky obstacles and safe
navigation becomes a priority…
Nature has a habit of resting when faced with these rushing
currents…where energy is replenished and the overwhelming
path ahead recedes from the forefront…
The streams of our lives are there to teach us something…if we
just flow by…we will get by…
But if we welcome the rocky obstacles before us…we will always
be exploring our destiny.

Waterfall of Life

A waterfall is one of those visual experiences that fill

us with awe and an appreciation for the diversity of

nature. Waterfalls begin their life as a tiny tear or a

 liquid mercurial ribbon of water.

Sparkling, musical, weaving their way around obstacles,

constantly seeking their path in the world.

A waterfall is not unlike the blood coursing through our

veins, nourishing, soothing, bringing life to the parched

regions that lie before it.

For in so doing it renews our spirit, lightens our soul and

transforms us to a better place.

A Starry Night

Have you ever noticed how many stars appear and how brilliant

they become, as we migrate away from the city?

The air is cleaner, the lights are softer and our senses become more

in tune with the world around us. As our moods lighten we tend

relax and the whirlwind existence of our lives slows to a crawl.

There are many of us who never take the time to see the little

diamonds that hang in the sky, nor reflect on how insignificant we

really are compared to the universe around us.

Are we nothing but a speck in the sky? Or are we all part of an elaborate

piece of God’s puzzle waiting to be fit together.

We may never know, but taking the time to reflect on the stars above us

while communing with nature will always be soothing to our soul.

We Are the Future

Hug us, kiss us, nourish us and believe in us, for we are

all that you are and would wish to be. Teach us to embrace

the world around us with love and understanding; show

us the essence of family and dare us to dream. For you are

our rocks, allowing us to spread our wings and fly, while

always creating a safe haven that we can return to.

A Rose's Gift

Have you ever looked at a rose in the early

mornings mist?? The buds tight and compact,

with Vibrant color and just the trace of scent…

with drops of dew that moisten and nourish.

In the days ahead, this rose opens itself to the

world, revealing its inner beauty...providing

depth and filling the space around it with all

It has to offer.

The scent!! … like a warm zephyr wind…gentle…

soothing…surrounding and enveloping you with

it’s lingering memory..

You are this … and more to me…

A Guiding Light

The path that we travel can be like a far sweeping sea…one moment calm
and soothing…and the next raging and battering everything around us.
Throughout our life, we tend to seek out those individuals that have the
Courage to stand up for their convictions in the face of the battering storms
around them.
For they are the beacons, defying the chaotic moods of the sea, with their
guiding light constantly seeking to part the darkness around us while
providing a pathway to the safe harbors we seek.
