The Day I Learned

The day I learned,
you were in love with
her,
I cried.
The day I learned,
none of it was real,
I cried for weeks.
The day I learned,
you never loved me,
I wanted to die.
There must be an iota of feelings,
or you wouldn't have said I love you,
at least on the outside.

The Day I Learned You Were Gone

You walked out these doors
all regrets forgotten
and smiled gleefully at him

You walked out these doors
brushed her away
and smiled gleefully at her

Congratulations.
You learned love.
You learned heartbreak.
You learned fake people exist.
You learned that this world was no longer kind.

You walked out these doors
And forgot about this world
but yet, you smiled gleefully at him

Drowning In Heartbreak

Sad, he waits alone
Calmly, rain pours all around
Happily, he drowns

The Guilty Ice-Cream Thief

It was the day of your tonsil surgery,
and it was very hot.
So sadly, I ate all of your banana ice cream,
With a bit of your chocolate whip cream at top.

I didn’t ‘fess up, so I won’t mess this up,
But I’ll be sure to pretend it’s the purge,
And have a gigantic spree-buying banana
ice cream for thee.

A Blink of the Eye

Slowly,
yet carefully,
her eyes watched them go by.
Her life passed through,
in just a simple blink of the
eye.
Her children were gone,
away from the nest.
But, where oh where,
was the one who loved her best?
Is he away?
With girls falling to the ground?
Or just sitting there,
alone,
with just a frown.
Where oh where,
has her life go by?
Probably in the depth of the ocean,
with a tear by his eye.

Ashamed of My Love

I’m in love with you, and you already knew.
You sent me all the signs and I thought you loved me too.
You told her you were in love with her.
I cried for nights, but I kept a smile.

But once in a while you’d flashed a wink or a grin, making me smile from chin to chin.
I can’t get over you.
I thought all hope was gone.

But you comforted me, but yet went to her when I can’t even get a text back.
I’m love with you and I don’t know what your feelings are to me.
I cry sitting here.
Ashamed of letting myself to love you again

Fire

Her small hand pushes the other one away

Instead she runs, looking for warmth

She searches and she finds a match

But little did she know, it only last for minutes at a time

Shattered Heart

They warned me of your eyes,
telling me of each and every lie.
You whispered sweet words into my ears,
making my world stop.
But little did I know you’d steal my heart,
then,
oh so carefully,
tearing it apart.

Why Is It

I see them staring
drooling
like I'm dead meat.

How is it that,
I,
a girl,
get treated like something to eat.

I see them staring.

I turn my head,
give 'em a smile.
I sit around and we talk for a while.

Why do they run?
You give 'em what they want,
and poof,
they're gone.

I am a girl.
I wasn't made for your happiness,
maybe,
oh maybe,
stop being so careless?

Take my heart,
stolen
and then you throw it to the ground.

Why do they run?
I try to give them the best

Is it wrong to want happiness?

Fishes In the Sea

They told me to stay away,
wiping each tear from my cheek.
But no one,
could love me
the same way you told me.

They told me you're not worth it.
I refused to believe,
But how could I be so naive?

They told me you're a liar,
but I didn't learn till you had
burned my hands with fire.

So I stand here, crying, you see.
Waiting for another fish in the sea.
