Summer

Voices floating through the air 
A friendly wind plays with everyone's hair 
Vibrant lights decorate the outside 
While it stays vacant and empty on the inside 
Loud splashes are heard from the pool 
An only escape from the heat into the cool 
Ribbons of smoke coming from the grill 
A hungry taste buds ultimate thrill 
Music is heard blasting through 
Dancers don't skip a song, never mind two 
The party continues well into the night 
Until the moon is hidden from sight
