Twenty-Seven Clovers

With a friend of my deceaced love
I sent a prayer way up high and above...
It was for a sad man who didn't believe
in a power greater than himself...

He lost his heart up on a crowded shelf,
for him I felt so sad and began to weep...
he was angry and I was scared
he'd been locked up and left in a cage
left alone for a very long time...
really hurt him and set up a rage
So I looked up to the sky and I asked for a four leaf clover
regretting my life over and over
To my surprise I searched only but a second
there it was...an answer to my prayer...
he said to me... do it again...just beware...
Like the heart of an innocent mistake
my heart began to quake...
I whispered to my God... please... do it again just for him
then I brought him twenty-six more that resembled the first
hoping those twentyseven clovers would deeply quench his thirst...

We Dance

We dance like leaves
drifting in the late night stars...
The moon circles wide open spaces of love
while we lay in each other's mood

Alone in our world of captivated touch
our senseless adorations become unity...

The suns warmth teases our early awakenings
and we laugh in the reflections of our waterfall...

Our love became as tall as the trees
and as smooth as an open breeze just before Spring...

I Can....

I can race through strong winds and broken barriers in life
I can never give up
I can breath all my dreams in childhood... I can be your wife
The pain in this world I can escape
I can chase it all away... I can turn it into the sleep
I can swim with the whales, I can swim in the deep
I can fly on the back of a horse
or swiftly by myself... in mid air
I can put on shades to hide in the glare
I can enter my thoughts... I can hold you there
I can make it back
I can make it there...

I Believe In You Lory

I was sure to be disappointed
but only manipulation turned your cheek
you were always there in every moment weak....
How they whisper envy....how they speak....
They say you can't tell the truth
I've been looking for it since my youth
yet you do.... I can't find you wrong
It is within my proven heart
that you belong.....and you my sweet man are one of a kind...
these words are spoken from my mind
only because my heart can fool me...

Sorry

Sorry I never said what I wanted to say before it was too late,
I Never imagined you'd be the one to go first...
I guess that it was fate...

Now you've gone away... I never imagined dying without you by my side
Sometimes I need a place to run, I need a place to hide
Maybe one day that place will be in heaven...
I'll find you there
Heaven can be what I want it to, this I do believe
For now I'll close this chapter, I'll let you go and grieve

Merchants Heaven

Between the dawn of ends and time empires wept wealthy
where glints of pillars vanished beyond the grass,
alone quiet merchants beneath joined will and turned the gates of golden riches
where tombs set dust and shadows upon a lonely grief and bid a final silent
sunlight...farewell...

Beating Heart

All my life I've earched a beating heart drawn near,
to shed me of this darkness, heavy laden inner fear.
A higher power has shown me the ugly colors of my face...
it is through grief and loss I have found serenity then grace.
A tower of beating hearts drawn near encourage me to add new color to the old...
thier memory and lesson I forever strive to hold.
Some people emulate a powerful impression felt,
softening me, causing my heart to melt.
For my heartache spiritual winds dry my tears and whisper of a safe place to
heal and face my fears...
I see my longing for the mountains to be that of a spiritual sign,
a comforter whispering that healing will be mine...
in my heart at last, the sun will shine...

Angel Wings

She rode swiftly on the angel wings of a white horse
with fiery red evil close behind
but evil was too late,at the gates, he'll wait...
Was a dream, a one of a kind...some kind of pact with the devil left to fulfill,
as she watched that empty can roll up that empty hill...
her soul was free in truth
in spirits of old and wise,
set forth in freedom,
you can see it in her eyes...

Mystery

Mystery unveil thy face.... to me
darkness pales your reflection....
Search my soul,
free thy mask set upon my throne
perplexity....

Top Hat

She tipped her top hat, lit a cigarette,
inhaled a drag and began to think.
He walked in,slid a dime in the jukebox
and ordered a drink...
Two lost souls entwined in a glass,
one with rythm, one with sass...
two lost souls amongst a mass
they know what each is thinking
..both sat silent, both sat drinking...

He smiled offered a wink as she replied
"please stay away, I can't take it, not today..."
"Kind of rough and rocky?" he sighed
"I want to be alone!"she lied...
As the music began to tickle her skin
"where shall I begin?"
