Another Lost Soul

You all think I have this perfect life
But really I'm just another lost soul
Who's looking for someone to care
I'm just like you, I need someone to love
I don't want to be alone
I want to have someone to care about
But no matter what I want,
It never seems to happen
And I doubt it ever will
Like, I really want you to stop judging me
And assuming that you know everything about me and my "perfect life"
Because really, you know nothing about me
I'm just another lost soul

Broken Reflection

When I look in the mirror what do I see
A broken reflection staring back at me
When I look in the mirror
I see a different side of me
I see the pain and the tears
the lies and the fears
all the abuse from over these years
When I look in the mirror
I see the scars that you caused
When I look in the mirror
I wish I could see what you see
I wish I could see beauty
But I don't
I look in the mirror and what do I see
Nothing but a broken reflection staring back at me...

Until Then...

I'm sorry grandpa that I didn't come today
But now I will say what I need to say
I just didn't think I could come because of everything that was going on
But that was no excuse, you really are gone
I thought that if I went people would stare at me
But that shouldn't have mattered it was you I was there to see
I know that I should have come
And that now you are in a much better home
I will be able to see you again
But for now it's good-bye and I miss you
Until then......

Friends Are Forever

Why do we keep getting in fights
This just doesn't seem to be right
I don't like fighting with you
And now I just don't know what to do
Does it have to do with me having a boyfriend?
If so, don't worry because me and you will be friends until the end
It may seem that he's invading our space
But don't worry, in my heart you have your own place
And it will never be taken away from you
That's just something I could never do
It may seem like lately I don't care
But I do, and I will always be there
We have a friendship that's one of a kind
One that is hard for anyone to find
One that will never change
Even though it can be pretty strange
Whenever we are together we always make a lot of noise
Especially if we are around or counting boys
I never will forget about you
No matter what anyone will say or do
For you are my best friend
And you always will be until the very end
Because Friends are Forever
forever and ever....

Game Over

I am so sick of this game you're playing
They say "it's all fun in games until someone gets hurt"
Well I've been hurt time and time again from this game
And it's not fun
You doing crap behind my back
Thinking I'll never find out
Well guess what, I have
And now I am done trying
I gave it my all, and I just can't do it anymore
This game is to much for me
I quit, go ahead now and call me a loser, or a poor sport
And tell me "it was all just for fun"
I'm not gonna fall for it this time
I quit, game over, you lose
You lose me as your friend
The best thing God could ever give you is friends
You lose... Game over

I Love You

I love you with all of my heart
our love will never fall apart
there is no one better for me than you
You are a dream come true
You are what I have always hoped and prayed for
I couldn't ask for anything more
I love you just as you are
You are the best one for me by far
You mean everything to me
I will love you til the end of eternity
and even beyond
We have a real special bond
I will love you forever and a day
You are in my heart always
I am looking forward to being with you the rest of my life
And I am especially looking forward to someday being your wife.

Untitled

Were we really friends
or was it fake all along
did you just use me and pretended to care
cuz you knew i would be there..
and I would pick you up when you were down...
Did you ever eally care... even for a second...
It use to feel like it
But now the feeling is gone...
It slipped away..along with my soul
I have no one anymore...
I never really did though to begin with
You were only there when you wanted something...
Now I found out your little game though..
So you moved on to find someone else to use...

Only a Dream

I fell asleep thinking about you
You and me together at last
Just the two of us...me and you
Starting over, putting everything in the past

But then I woke up from this fantasy
And was back in this thing called reality

It was only a dream
A dream of mine
One that won't come true
I'm just wasting my time
Wasting my time on you
It was only a dream

You were back in my life
You even made me you wife
We were so happy together
Just the two of us forever

But then I returned from this fantasy world
Back into reality where my life was torn

It was only a dream
A dream of mine
One that won't come true
I'm just wasting my time
Wasting my time on you
It was only a dream

Yeah, that's all it was...a dream
Only a dream
Yeah, it was only a dream

You Don'T Know the Real Me

You look at me and see a beautiful girl,
with the perfect life, the perfect world.
You see me laughing and smiling all the time
But what you see is all fake
I laugh and smile to hide the tears and fears
There's so much behind my smile you just don't see
It's like you don't even know the real me

Cardboard Box

Living in that cardboard box
Is a man I use to know
He use to have everything
But now he has no food or clothes

I see the man everyday
As I'm driving down the street
He walks around carrying that sign
To get some food to eat

I see him out there in the rain
Trying to find somewhere to hide
It makes me stop and think
Should I let him come inside

I see him out there trying to get a job
Because he has a family you know
He has a wife and children too
But that no one knows

I see him out there all alone
His family left his side
But he still loves them dearly
That's how he makes it through the nights

I see him out there every night
Looking up towards the sky
He thanks God for what he's given
And for never leaving his side

Living in that cardboard box
Is a man I use to know
You see he is my father
Or so that's what I'm told
