Feathered Friend

Swaying with the breeze
While standing firm on a branch
Blowing wind whispers

Fly my feathered friend
Ascend into the bright sky
A fleeting moment

With a steady gaze
Silhouette quickly fading
Empty hands, freedom!

Lakbay

Sa diwa ko at damdamin
Hikbi’t malayo ang tingin
Mga pagsinghap sa hangin
Ito’y iyo sanang dinggin

Kung may problema’t madapa
Matuto sanang gumawa
Buhay na makahulugan
Bangon aking kaibigan

Pumarito at tayo na
Makuntento at magsaya
Sa ‘ting kinabukasan na
Punong-puno ng pag-asa

Sa mga aral ng buhay
Ito ay pagpapatunay
Na ako ay kaagapay
Tulong sa’yong paglalakbay

You'Re the Difference

In my life that’s sad and lonely
Full of mischief and misery
You came like a bright neon light
Flashing colors to my delight

Just thinking of your pretty face
Heart’s beating fast like in a race
But when we are not together
Our love, will it last forever?

At times of grief or happiness
You’re by my side in willingness
Pleasant thoughts of you in my mind
I know someday that I will find

My whole being I offer you
Please accept it for it is true
And in all of your innocence
My darling, you’re the difference

Authentic Happiness

When memories of your past haunts you still

Thinking of what’s ahead in your future

Be here in the moment you must in-still

Mindful of your thoughts and actions suture

Caring and giving your all for your love

Neglecting to appreciate oneself

Love yourself first and love God from above

Put love in everything’s good in itself

Yet, how to have authentic happiness?

To be mindful of what is here and now

Live this moment and make it your business

Commit to oneself and make it a vow!

To appreciate and love yourself first

Glorifying God and quenching your thirst!

Life On the Verge

Like a candle that is slowly melting
With the wind its flame is flickering
Its light is fading as it regress
As its wick becomes less and less

They say a man who’s on the edge
Will grab a knife, blood on its blade
When in doubt and you hesitate
Do what is right, in God have faith!

His world is spinning and He is dizzy
It’s like Vertigo, take it easy
He’s out of breath and deeply in pain
All of these things, is it in vain?

Looking up He’s going blind
Questions hanging in his mind
Leaving his loved ones behind
Answers soon He hopes He’d find

A gulp of air last taken
His heart stops and limbs stiffen
His eyelids are slowly closing
As life is gone and tears are falling

Rescue Me

Danger
Beware

I plea
Help me

Don’t stray
I pray

Need-be
Pull me

Have faith
I’m safe

Okay
Today

Thank you
Adieu

My friend
The End

Regurgitation

At the mere sight of your beauty
I feel something inside of me
Like a pressure that is building
Bit my lip and face is flushing

And then you sit right beside me
What to do? I got panicky!
Either get up and walk away
Or turn around and then say “hey!”

And when an hour has passed us by
You turned around and said “goodbye!”
Stood up, I will never forget
Looked at you with full of regret!

Felt my heart and it’s moving up
In my throat like there is a lump
I bent down and opened my mouth
Everything inside just came out

And this moment that I have yearned
There is a lesson to be learned
There might not be a second chance
Surely it will only come once!
