Life On the Verge
Like a candle that is slowly melting
With the wind its flame is flickering
Its light is fading as it regress
As its wick becomes less and less
They say a man who’s on the edge
Will grab a knife, blood on its blade
When in doubt and you hesitate
Do what is right, in God have faith!
His world is spinning and He is dizzy
It’s like Vertigo, take it easy
He’s out of breath and deeply in pain
All of these things, is it in vain?
Looking up He’s going blind
Questions hanging in his mind
Leaving his loved ones behind
Answers soon He hopes He’d find
A gulp of air last taken
His heart stops and limbs stiffen
His eyelids are slowly closing
As life is gone and tears are falling
