The Life of the Namby-Pamby

Tears rolled down.
Face wrinkled.
A little shout comes a frown.
I am weak and fickled,
Life is hard,
I am sad.
Life is for the ironclad,
But am a frail lad.
Controlled by emotions,
And also swayed by affection.

All hands on deck,
Does not fall under my purview,
I'd rather rest my neck,
Go on vacation for a nice view.
I guess its time to throw in the towel,
Then right back to my comfort zone.
Pick up my phone, browse and be alone,
Then to the kitchen for ready made food to fill my bowel.
Sleep, wake up and sleep again,
Your admonisions are in vain.
Give me an umbrella cos the sun is shinning,
I can't risk exposing my skin to drying.

Such is the life of the namby-pamby, then little by little failure creeps in.

Felifes

Your words were hurting
Provoking and mean
More of torture than loving,
So I thought as a teen.
The rod of admonition you never spared,
Consistent though I was rebellious.
In the raw word I was rared,
Though hard and strenous.
Now shall I forget thy prayers at night,
Or should I seize to remember the song you sang?
It resonates joy and not plight.
I can only reciprocate by acquinting with the right gang.
On me you spent your last kobo,
Was there when my heart seemed frail,
Though I never showed it cos of my ego.
Your encouraging words were around when I seem to fail.
You whisper joy to my ears,
Between the gale you were my anchor.
Your soft smile drowns my fears.
You thought me to axe rancour.
FELICIA AND FESTUS, you are the best parent.

To My Lovely

I am under a spell.
Your love is sweeter than I could tell.
Your name rings a bell.
You are graceful like a gazelle.
Whenever you are in danger,
I will fight for you as a ranger,
Cos in my heart you are no stranger.
You have become my heart manager.
I'm familiar with your fragrance.
I noticed you in one glance.
Am lost in a trance.
Knowing you was not by chance.
We are made for one another.
We are a good mixture, we can lather.
I would leave my mother and father
And all my love to you I will render.
...I realy do love you.

To Woo My Lady

She is looking radiant,
Body silky like that of an infant,
To describe her beauty, oh I can't.
Your perfume inviting to both man and ant.
You've charmed me, state your request and I will grant.
Your eyes are like doves,
Charming to both friends and foes,
Your smile has killed a thousand heroes.
A cock sees your footsteps and crows,
Your thighs are like where rose grows.
Your glance churns my stomach with rapid peristalsis,
You are like the breeze that browses among lillies,
Your thighs rounded like twin cities,
Your lips like fishes dancing in the seas.
Blessed is the craftsman that gave you such curvature,
Well formed with a unique structure,
Loving you is now my culture,
Forgive me if I stop at this juncture.
With this few points, I hope to have convinced you beyond reasonable doubt, you are mine, yes you are mine.

Hunger

HUNGER
My eyes gaze upon the beauty of anger
and my stomach dances to the sound of silence.
the testimony of your cruelty resounds as a banger
thrown from my neighbors fence
as i perceive the aroma of wicked of food.

Can you be any lenient?
You have made yourself a tenant
in my once cheerful face.
You kissed my head and my stomach you embrace.

My mouth is mute
yet filled with words.
How i wish my words to eat,
cos it present itself in many plates.

I can feel my intestines
raising up its hands
in plea of your mercy.
I have never been so weary of my yawns.

It is one, no three, ok two,
i think am having impaired vision,
all thanks to you
with your terrible mission.
Hunger.

The Pearly Gate

Hi, up there, its me, again.
It hasn't been a week since you forgave my bane,
Truly, one would say I deserve the cane
Since I have missed the mark and ran on a different lane
With the consequence etched in my mind,
I neglected your admonition and went straight for the devils bind,
I once said that I will never tire until you I will find,
But with the same lips course and hostility came,
Am sorry if in the process I shamed your name.
My only prayer is this,
Lord give me the grace,
To keep up the pace
That I may not fail in heavenly race,
Help me to keep it to the next phase, so that when am lost in a world vase,
Your grace will be my trace. Amen.

No Gray

ey
NO GRAY
Lord, am split in two,
A part to the world, the other you.
So what do I do?
I wanna be cool,
But I want to be saved too.
I know am not a fool,
I can't miss a chance to be used by you,
Or my ticket to heaven too.
So, if it is you am after,
I can't serve another master
And I can't make this a tough matter.
It is cool to stay on the fence,
But it could get intense
And live myself in a mess
And do stuffs that doesn't make sense.
I have to be strong and do right.
Or be weak and see only the night.
I will never live your sight.
Will serve you with all might.
No shades of gray.

Bed:Bitter Sweet

Am on the reading table
Turning to that light, soft rubber material,
Covered in fine sheet, very noticeable
And to the body essential.
In your bossom lies soothe, calm and peace.
You are tempting though you never said a word,
An item made from fine piece.
I would love to rest yearns my spinal cord.
My head well placed on that soft pillows,
My body stretched comfortably on that sheet.
The calm of my body billows.
Between man and book you instill rift.
In a second my eyes bocomes drowsy
My bones shrinks,
Weak and lazy
As though I had one or two drinks.
Am left drowning in the oceans of slumber.
Unconcious yet I mutter,
Awake but eyes are ember,
What just happend, I stutterd.
Though you are nice,i rather flee your grip than become forever your slave.

Habit

Piece by piece it is bound like a broom,
Then like a flower, bloom.
No time, but for it you make room,
As if you were the bride and the groom.
Like a cancer it eats to the bone,
Like a cyst it forms a stone.
It gives ecstasy and makes you moan,
Brings the feeling that you are not alone,
Then little by little habit is grown.
The irony when we ask God to take away something from us while we still have deep feelings for that. What do you want?
