Let Me Be

I want to be far away from you
so I pray that I’ve never see you again
I pray that one day you’ll disappear and go away
To stop stalking me

Far away places I want to be
I feel sheltered with thee
Comforting God shall bring

I want to be far away from you
So I pray that you will let me be

I run and hide
My fears multiply
Promise me that one day
I’ll be set free
Alone is all I ever wanted to be

Can'T Let Go

She hates dealing with pain
The aching feeling in her heart drives her insane
She has a hard time letting go
The weakness in her heart always seems to show.
She is weak, she is hopeless, her name is broken heart
Lord put her together before she falls apart

She cries at night when everyone is sleep
So they cannot hear her weep
She reminisces seven days a week
The cheating and lies all made her heart weak

Next time, She’ll be smart
She will be strong and she will have hope
And someday time will fix her heart

He Sings To Me

Energy is flying in the room
Green, blue, red, yellow flickering lights
Hot and sweaty peoples standing everywhere
Sweat dripping down my nose
Palms are moist and shaky

Shouting, clapping, screaming
Looking over peoples shoulders
Moving my body left to right
Backing it up like his dancers
Reaching my hand out to grab his leg
Please touch my hand, Please touch my hand

Sing to me, sing me to sleep
Singing as if no one is watching
Looking in to my eyes singing his lullabies
Slowly drifting to heaven to peace
While finding closure to all my problems

Shift change in tempo
A transition to bouncy steps
One, two, three
Singing along off key
Trying to match his seductive noises

Transferring his love to me
Falling into infatuation
The greatest singer of all
Drinking gin and juice and alcohol
Reminiscing all the love I recall
Singing is the greatest noise to us all
