Hands

He surprised me with his attention
I didn't think it would happen
I was just using my line
And there he was…
Looking good…
Looking so good…

I had to use my line on him
I walked up and the words…
Just came from my mouth…
Smoothly and…

Next thing I know
His hands were on my…
Waist and he was…
Behind me and we were…
Walking, talking, laughing, and…
Dancing together…
Moving together…
Making music and…
Grinding together.

It just happened like that,
I didn't mean for it to, or
Maybe I did, but it didn't go…
Any farther than holding…
Hands.

Again

I met you and you brought me here.
I tell you thanks as often as I can.
But now I am here alone.
You don't want to join me.
In this town with a population
Of one.
It's me and only me in a town called love.
I wish you would come and
Reclaim your property
So this town could be a population of two…
Again.
Because two's company
And three's a crowd.
You should leave her and
Come back to me.
The streets of this town are never crowded
There is plenty of room for you to join me.
We can drive around the streets
And stay out as late as we want
Without worrying about the neighbors or
My sister's big mouth.
It can be just me and you…
Again.

This Feeling Can Kill

This girl I know
Is not like me
Her beauty goes deeper
Than the eye can see

Boys flock to her
And leave me alone
I hate that part
What did I do wrong?

The thing is that
She's related to me
She came to my school
And took my friends from me

She doesn't know
How I feel
She can never know
For this feeling can kill.

Love Is

Love is not ever being lonely
Even when no one is with you.
Love is believing that every word
Your boyfriend says is true.
Love is wanting to be by his side
Knowing that by his rules you will abide.
Love is finally understanding
The songs on the radio.
Love is being able to finish his sentences
Because his words you know.
Love is having butterflies
When he is near.
Love is knowing his voice
When it is what you hear.
Love is feeling
Weak in the knees.
Love is when he
Is the only one you see.
Love is when
His love is true…
I know because
I'm in love with you.

Soul Mates

A soul mate likes
The same things as you
A soul mate has
Some differences, too.
You like the park
And so does he
But he likes coffee
And you like tea.
This doesn't mean
You aren't meant to be
It just means
You see things differently.
You don't argue
And you don't fight
You finally agree
That everything's all right.
You have a soul mate
And he is your "boo"
I found my soul mate
My soul mate is you.
