The Sound of Silence

Its utterance permeates the dense
Air. As a monarch butterfly flaps its
Delicate wings, without a single
Care, the Gregorian chant
Dissipates, slowly, metamorphosing into the
Lair, where a cub is nestling against the lion,
A mother nursing her young,
Fair-skinned son, similar to
The road to Zion,
Rare and scarce to find a minute disturbance
There. The sonic waves
Have been temporarily interrupted by this
Mare, galloping to and fro, everywhere, and
Nowhere is found, one isolated sound. Do you
Dare, to end this golden browning of harmonious
Flares, in the celebration of sweet silence?
Do not let this occurrence pass by,
Unaware.
