Noelle Dondero Poem
Love at a Glance
Eyelashes trembling,
Stealing a hurried glace over,
The space above the lips’ edge painted a shocked shade;
No words said,
Thoughts hasten about with an excited urgency
Only to be described as awe,
And, though out loud the silence is outspoken,
There is no mistake.
As glances meet,
As colors agree,
As emotions array,
It is known that these feelings
Are felt the same way.

Noelle Dondero Poem
An Angel in Disguise
Her halo is sheltered by a dust-covered cloak,
And her hair is the golden hue of a starry night.
Her voice mends the spirits of the damaged,
And she can bring life to the Earth with a gentle poke.
While healing scars using her heart as a bandage,
Off with her humbled wings she takes flight.
Never asking for the same in return,
She does all good deeds for a pure purpose.
Taking pleasure from the things she changes,
She is mindful of the place where people burn,
And her graceful intention never ranges.
Throughout the land, she is the people’s compass.
