People of Good – strengthen your ties!
Glory to the heroes-defenders
of the Donbas

Message to the Ukra-President
?? who sows the wind, reaps whirlwind
How can you live, oh, “Independent” leader,
A peaceful life, devoid of worry,
When, all around, a civil war does rage?
The country, it curses you: do you hear?
Without a care, you leave her wounded!
The orders you follow come across the ocean.
A princely ransom’s paid for compliance and for lies,
So that the Homeland you obediently betray.
And, bible in hand, you did swear to her allegiance!
The citizens’ rights, to defend you vowed,
Your duty to do, for common good your utmost effort!
And then you sent out murder squads around the cities,
As though your promise doesn’t mean a thing...
Of independence, do you cherish the hope?
Yet, like the only foe of comprehensive power,
With it, perform do you, violent reprisals.
Between fellow folk, savage enmity you sow:
When by hatred for the Russians, they’re entranced,
They blindly bring destruction to their roots in common.
A true absurdity, this phobia that plagues them!
Who ‘pon Ukraine integrity bestowed?
Not Austro-Hungary, the tyranny of Poland –
T’was Soviet Russia who gave to her cohesion.
Then for the first time Ukraine became a single land.
But with your slogan of sovereign independence
Are leading it quite openly towards dependence.
Become a colony: is what you’d like to see,
And human targets to enrich the ranks of the US.
And what is that, as a national idea...?
And isn’t that, for sure, an enterprise «worth praising»?
In your attempts to make the state a single unit,
When many different tribes have been here since the dawn of time,
You, by this mediocre venture,
Attract here only fascists and our foes,
Who’ve from the shadows come, to join the conflict,
Prepared to wipe out those “unneeded”.
This is what such policies in essence are:
To genocide, you’re opening the door!
Without federalization, far-reaching
You’ll never keep the whole of the Ukraine together,
Not with lying propaganda, nor with fire:
For our shared house is falling down!
Committed “rescuer”, come to your senses –
All of this villainy is right down to you!
The family’s conscientious parent,
Of peoples’ strife you show that you are unaware.
It’s only to nonsensical and rancorous sorrow
For years now, you’ve condemned the Homeland,
Your sacred gift to her – she’s stony-broke...
And your reward for all this? The curses from your native people!
