We Stand United

Innocent falling through the smoke,
From which the towers once stood,
They were Engulfed in the flame.
I watched as that plane,
Destroyed all sense of security,
That we ever had.

It was then I made my mind,
It wasn't anger nor fear.
It was the reality.

Upon our soil they dared attack,
Do they not know us?
Do they not fear us?
they should have fear.
fear for our will
Our strength
Our spirit
Our brotherhood

They've messed with the wrong people
Never should they have,
Gotten onto the plane.
It caused our people
To re unite stronger,
To get closer and more powerful
than ever before.

Yes, time was a factor,
Its been years.
But now you have to deal,
With the children.
who's innocent minds
Were altered by violence.
That now seek revenge.

Is it to late?
Is it wrong?
to avenge my country?

It is said,
 United we stand,
Divided we fall.
But for us,
We are
One nation under god,
We are
 indivisible
We stand for
Liberty and justice for all.

We will stand united,
We won't be divided,
We will give justice,
We are Americans.

Try and stop us.

My Heart

I've felt my heart get stomped on,
Its been beaten,
Sometimes broken.
But never has it felt like this before.

It's been twisted and messed with.
I've let my feelings flow,
They were misled.
Sent into a abyss and shattered.

Which are mine and which are left over.
These pieces barley fit together.
Making a picture,
Blurred and misinterpreted.
Why can't it just be simple.

They say a picture is worth,
 a thousand words.
What if I only want a few,
Of those words.

My heart is beating hard,
From love?
From fear?
Anxiety?

These feelings thrust together,
Combusting and overwhelming,
Everything else that matters.

Where is the point,
That my heart can idle.
I just need some time,
To place the pieces together.
To understand what these feelings are.

My heart is still pounding,
Even though its been,
Stomped on,
Beaten,
And broken.

This time is different,
It's being tested.
Seeing if it's worthy,
If it can handle the stress.

It's becoming stronger,
Going through the toughest.
Building a trust,
a hope,
In what it feels.

Today my heart has started a journey.
Tomorrow is just a continuation.

Nerve

Why can't I get the nerve to ask her
Is it because of the chance,
That my hopes and dreams
Can be lost within just a moment.
Or is it that she has me so drawn
To her that i can't even place
Such simple words together.

Or Am I so afraid
Of what I think she might say
It's this felling of not knowing
That is digging at me
Every time I think of her.

Just give me the nerve
To tell her
To tell her what I'm feeling

How every time she smiles
It makes my day.
Each day I see her
I forgot my troubles
And start to feel
What it actually means
To be in love.

Anxiety

Have you ever had a nightmare when your not dreaming?
Does it scare you, and you say this can be happening?

Do you feel like the whole world is crashing down?
Like your in a swimming pool about to drown?

Lost in your thoughts of what if?
They seem to be driving you straight to a cliff.

Seems like I've been here before...
But this time it feels like so much more

The worst part is I really have no reason to fear
Because It's already been made so clear

But I still stay up late
Because all I can do is contemplate

Right now I need a taste of reality
I'm so lost in my anxiety
