What Is Love

I love you is said for a lot of different reasons,
And in a lot of different ways.
People claim they know what love is,
But do they really know?
Love cannot be defined,
And people see love from different perspectives.
Love can be evil,
And love can be oh so great.
Love can be a blissful moment,
And love can be utterly painful.
Love is when you look into someone's eyes,
And it's just so meaningful.
It's when someone's presence can make a day so much brighter.
And when someone's words can change a thousand different things.
Love is when you can describe how someone makes you feel,
Love is when you know what you have is real.
Love isn't always easy,
And love isn't always great.
But what we have is never ending,
What we have is so beautiful.
You fight to keep me happy,
You tell me you need me.
You tell me you love me, 
But without those words,
I can tell you love me so very much.
You prove it to me every single day.
You can look into my eyes,
And It can mean a thousand things.
I can see you adore every inch of me.
Our love is like a perfect melody,
Our love is like a perfect storm.
It's so mysterious,
And so full of adventures.
This love story is like no other.
So when I tell you "I love you",
I actually mean it.
When I tell you "I love you",
I want you to believe It.

Oh, My Love

You are my saving grace,
I love your warm embrace.
You keep my mind at ease,
And you make me want to believe.

You fixed my broken heart
You are my brand new start.
Your thoughtfulness saved my life
And I cannot wait to be your wife.

I can't wait until we grow up
And live the life I've always wanted.
If we stick together no one can hurt us.
Most people will hate life, but we'll be happy instead.

Who Am I: That Girl

That girl-

That girl who avoids attention,
Smiles to make other people happy.
That girl who just wants affection,
But can't be who everyone wants her to be.

That girl who worries for no reason,
About hangs that truly don't matter. 
That girl who just wants to have fun,
But her brain Is just a huge scatter.

That girl who's life is a mess,
But she makes it through the day.
That girl who sadly has a lot of stress,
And hardly ever gets her way.

That girl who's hair doesn't cooperate,
And doesn't she doesn't care what people think.
That girl who's life isn't all that great,
But never let's her heart sink.

As I Lay

As I lay against your chest,
I realize what we have is real
I realize that you are different from the rest.
When I'm with you, all my problems stand still.
You are so perfect, you're simply the best.

I love every moment I spend with you, 
You are the light of my day.
I'd be so lost without you, I don't know what I'd do.
I reminisce all our good times, I'll never forget last May...
I still love you the same, even after everything we've been through.

Your voice is like a a beautiful melody.
I love the way you look at everything.
You're soft lips will be the death of me. 
You will never know the amount of joy you bring.
You keep me going and you make me want to believe.

Your hugs make me so happy. 
I can't wait to spend forever with you.
I want to face this world, just you and me.

Two Lovers In the Sunset

Two lovers in the sunset,
Stuck in a moment of bliss
Her lips against his.
Trees in the background-
                                    Swaying.
He holds her hands in his,
As they share true love's kiss.
As the sun sets behind them, 
The River flows beautifully.
The birds chirp romantically.
Her hair pulled back,
As his blows in the breeze.
Their eyes shut loosely,
Enjoying this precious kiss.
Clouds moving above them,
God watches over them.

Fight Your Battle

Everyone has to fight a battle.
And maybe your battle is fought for you,
Or maybe your battle nearly kills you.
Even If your battle knocks you down,
Get back up and keep fighting.

The way I look at things,
Bad things are just bad storms.
And bad storms always pass over.
And maybe a million bad storms will hit you
But each storm is followed with a new day,
And each day has potential.

The trick is to stay in the present.
Don't look behind you,
What's back there doesn't matter.
And don't peak too far ahead,
There's no point in it.

Just keep your head held up,
Don't let things get in your way.
Even if you're struggling, smile.
Don't let your demons win.
Fight this battle called life.

Help Me

I walk around these halls,
Feeling more dead than alive.
I don't want to be here at all,
I'm just praying I'll survive.

Nothing makes sense to me,
Everything is engulfing me.
Will you save me from myself
I'm scared of myself.

I'm scared of what I'll do,
I'm scared of what will happen
I'm lost in this world of fear.
I don't think you can save me.

I'm too far gone,
There's no going back,
The pain has just begun
Where am I at?

What world am I in,
Where have you taken me?
Why can't I awake from this,
This is a nightmare, please help!

This is a mistake,
I don't belong here,
I think I'm dead.
Is this actual hell?

The devil took me away,
He calls this my home.
I do not like it here,
But I have no choice.

I can't get away from him,
He won't let me go.
I don't understand this,
What did I do to deserve this?

The moon shines down on us,
Love lingering in the air.
Laying in your arms, so warm,
Your body- so close.

Our hearts beat in a rhythm.
Your hands intertwine with mine.
The sound of your laugh, so sweet.
Your touch- so gentle.

Our love is a lot like wind,
We feel it but can't see it.
I love your imperfections,
The way your eyes shine.

This love cannot be explained,
A magical adventure.
