A Mother's Unconditional Love

For I have renewed my patience only for you
And have come to terms with the fact that you will be doing what you do
For I have promised to love you for who you are and not what I want you to be
For this I employ
That for whatever it is that you will do
I will just think that you are just a boy

..My little boy.

Butterfly In a Bottle

Slowly opens the eyes
Amazed, flutters to the skies
Contained. Settles and sighs.

The Fire Within

With soul ablaze, faced the skies,
Out came the passionate sighs.
Emotions steadily rise,
Bestowed by smoldering eyes.

Not a Moment To Spare

It’s now, and not a moment to spare
Trust little of the future
–Distant and nowhere near.

It’s now. Refuse to put it off
Seize today’s mirth
Squander today’s worth.

Tomorrow never fixates, always unsure
Changes by the minute
In a blink, in a heartbeat.

Blaze today, savor the moment
Tomorrow’s dream is a fool’s errand
Hardly in the grip of your hand.

Bask in today’s glory like it is your last
Cast away all the worry
Take it, and take ‘em all, time is running fast.

It’s now! –And not a moment to spare
So much of the future
There’s not a need to prepare.

Whimpers of a Chained Heart

Strange how I met you
In a world where I have thought
That unspoken love abound.
Simply realized
Just how empty life had been
Till I look right through your eyes.

Thenceforth can’t forego
Shivers, they’re all that you bring
Oh, what a magical thing.
Vivid memory
Your smile was carved like a scar
Lingers to my whole being.

Ah! There from afar
You were yearned for night and day
More like a sweet candy bar.
I’ve kept you hidden
Deep into my soul’s secrets
Your home for so many years.

Drowning from inside
By this passion I possess
Nobody would ever guess
‘Coz deep within me
In utmost intensity
Live a love that can’t be free.

Behold the Secret Crush

Had you moved a little bit closer,
You would have heard me loud and clear.
Perceived this chaos and din
I’m rumbling from within.
Throbbing your name like
drum from the start,
 I am her
 beating
heart.

Had you listened to me intensely,
You would have known this fantasy.
I’ve dreamt of you night and day,
Oh, yearning secretly.
I beg of you, to
me please be kind,
I am her
foolish
mind.

Had you looked deeper into her eyes,
You would have seen the love that sighs.
I’m the window to her core,
It’s you whom she adore.
Yes, I witness how
you make her whole,
I am her
wishful
soul.

My secret divulged all three of them,
Way past the facade of this femme.
Childish whim, look what you’ve done,
Alas, this ain’t no fun!
Having you near me
I feel the rush,
‘Coz you’re my
secret
crush.

Enchanting Days of Fall

Slowly backs away the shadow that looms the morning
Fallen leaves gleams the ground, a new beginning.
The world went still, racking noises from inside subsided
Damp breeze feels like romantic dill, then and now collided.

Lull away into the afternoon chills, make no such haste
The whispers of the rustling leaves, slows the pace.
Familiar aroma fills the air of joyful childhood years
Be taken past traverse with the melody of holiday cheers.

Warm and cozy into the night, gaze at the skies with awe
Of glimmering stars adorns the view, and the moon’s afterglow.
Delight into the zenith of the enchanting midnight chime
And the wind’s murmurs, akin to frozen tales of time.

Passions renew, snuggle safe into the love’s sweet embrace
With a clean slate, this wistful season departs with glaze.

Hello, Winding Road

Into the gloomy, winding road
Helplessly she was pulled right in
Back to where passion overflowed
To dreary days that once has been.

For where the distant past resides
Into the gloomy, winding road
Lurks a shadowy fear she hides
Regret, distress so deeply stowed.

There’s no stopping, it will implode
Got to lose the grip and let go
Into the gloomy, winding road
That seems to be familiar foe.

With eyes wide shut, she’s daunt with awe
And broods on future episode
Of perfect moment smeared with flaw
Into the gloomy, winding road.

Cloaked In Ink

The beauty of the molten gold
Embedded beneath my skin
Mysteries concealed, stories untold
They gazed at in disdain.

Forever bold, meaningless art
Ravaged with sinful brands
Beyond the graft, speaks the heart
The criminal is in a trance.

Defeat and sorrow spurt from within
In veiled obscurity it clings to me
Happiness etched like a triumphant grin
Dearest friends unlock the key.

Oh, I’ll clothe my soul with abundant colors
Of endless styles and hue
Take no heed of the momentous rumors
Of another great tattoo.

Where Frozen Ember Still Burn

For I cannot look straight into your eyes
Or you will know I’m lying. I’m churning.
Scared that my eyes will give it all away
In the cover of friendship I’m hiding.

Silently true, I have forgotten you
A familiar lovesong. From long ago.
For if there’s no fuel, the fire dies out
But deep in my heart there’s an ember of you.

It’s a masquerade game that I’m playing
You and me. In this lifetime it can never be.
You stood right there for everyone to see
And there was me, wanting to cross the boundary.

With heart heavy I had to run away.
Suddenly. Or your presence will burn me. Completely.
There only from where no one would e’er see
I’ll let the frozen ember from my heart consume me.
