Hello, Winding Road

Into the gloomy, winding road
Helplessly she was pulled right in
Back to where passion overflowed
To dreary days that once has been.

For where the distant past resides
Into the gloomy, winding road
Lurks a shadowy fear she hides
Regret, distress so deeply stowed.

There’s no stopping, it will implode
Got to lose the grip and let go
Into the gloomy, winding road
That seems to be familiar foe.

With eyes wide shut, she’s daunt with awe
And broods on future episode
Of perfect moment smeared with flaw
Into the gloomy, winding road.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
