Field of Dreams

While walking through a field today, I tripped upon a rock of gray,
then struck my head upon that stone where I blacked out there all alone. A dream soon took me to a place, a crisp clear vision of your face, your blue eyes shined their loving glow, your golden hair was let to flow .. upon bare shoulders naturally, as it cascaded down on me. You placed a soft hand to my face, which caused my heart to pound and race. You brought your breath so close to mine, then whispered only one small line. You said... "I Love You.. yes I do, I'll always be here just for you".
That forced my dreaming eyes to tear, for suddenly I had no fear.
No fear of ever losing you, the one I've searched for my life through.
The one so lovely, warm, and kind, the one I thought I'd never find.
I tried to force my lips to move, to say the words so I could prove, that all held feelings deep inside, are feelings that I cannot hide. But words don't come so easily, while deep within a dream you see, although I tried so desperately to tell you what you mean to me. I failed for I just could not talk, that darned old stupid blackened rock!
Then suddenly as I came to, a real world ended dreams of you, as birds were singing up above, to wake me from this dream of love. So there I was, standing tall, my head still clearing from the fall, oh please just let me fall again, return me back to where I'd been ! Back to you within that dream, as crazy as that just may seem.
Then suddenly I realized, and thought of you as I surmised, that I don't need a
dream to see..... I have you in reality!

Because of You

Each day I wake and see you there, I watch you breathe and stroke your hair. You rustle oh so peacefully, for somehow you can sense it's me.
Slip out of bed, and have my cup, of coffee trying to wake up.
Out to the garage to my old chair, and ponder while I'm sitting there.
Why has my life so changed with you? My every thought, my dream come true.
Simple fate or just pure chance? I don't believe in happenstance.
A greater power, much stronger than, any reason known to man.
Has brought me you, down from the sky. And to this day I don't know why.
But "Because of You" I feel complete, a happiness I can't retreat.
You've brought new meaning to my life, I thank the Lord for you... my Wife.
You make me proud, by compliment, my smallest task or non-event.
A man should feel this way I sense, yet so few don't in self defense.
Much wasted time has passed before, in days of empty pointless score.
But "Because of You" and all you give, I now have purpose, I now can live.
My vow to you Princess Delight, to love your soul each day and night.
Not take for granted your gift of love, forsake reward from God above.
Forever thankful through and through, this blessed man, "Because of You"

Time For Equality

Alright you guys, just listen up, it's time for me to vent.
The day has come to recognize, somehow we must repent.
For centuries now, we've acted as, we are much better than,
our counterparts the girls and gals or a.k.a. WOMAN!
They wash our clothes, they cook our food, keep clean things round the house, yet still somehow we all believe that we're the supreme spouse.
Baloney, that's a bunch of crap, it's time to tell them all,
so get up off you're your BIG fat butt, and turn off that football.
Admit to them, for once for all, as hard as that may seem,
equalitys' found a brand new day, a day they should redeem.
Their dignity, their pride, their trust and all that we've assumed,
that once was our's to have and keep, self-righteously entombed.
They brought our children to this world, and labored major pain,
while we felt slighted .... 'er lack of sex, how dare they do abstain?
They truly are our equals now, so guy's let's all admit,
they always have been all along, because of gender split.
Just stop and think, what would you do, if all of them weren't here?
Imagine living Man to Man... My God, Good Grief, .... Oh Dear !!!!!!!!
