Conflicted

Lost is all harmony
When conditions are opposed

Doors of talks once open
Now are kept closed

Agree on keeping peace
We are tired of all the war

Peace can happen
Like the few times before

The world is unstable
And getting very small

Only one thing is needed
Peace, thats all

Once the world is destroyed
Never can we return

It will be to late then
And the lesson never learned

Not To Me

War is the faces
With blank staring eyes

In to many houses
Another mother cries

For freedom they say
This war was led

So many of our young
Keep coming back dead

They found Sadamm
Hiding in his hole

The numbers keep rising
Adding to the toll

Freedom is priceless
With that I agree

Has the war been worth it?
No, not to me

The Shadetree

This poem was written
From deep down inside

These feelings and emotions
I can no longer hide

No one likes to get beat
And abused

It makes you feel dirty,
Helpless, and used

My dad beat my mother
Causing nightmares of my past

Life is so short
Time goes to fast

Your supposed to have fun
And live like you please

I am happy now
He is under the tree's

I hope he likes shade
That was his only request

Now he can burn
With all the rest
