A simple rhyme with my pen release demons from within
A God given gift that lifts my sin through the tip of my pen
Cleansing the mind
Leaving guilt and concealed feelings behind

Thoughts struck!………with lightning
Produce loose writing
Less sleep
Thoughts Too deep!

Expressing one’s Soul on paper
Hoping to sow the goodness of life 
Later reaping blessing 
by walking in Gods sight

Understanding a poet’s flow is more than what you know
Its hidden wisdom 
imprisoned by the soul 
Fabricated and best translated 
By ten percent of the mind
Searching Deep!……to find 
The meaning of one’s being
On earth
Up till now from birth
Giving a peace of mind 
Forever marked as mine
For what its worth

Poetry’s more than a hobby
Its what makes Us!…… as poets feel whole 
In this temporarily occupied body
