Roman Legion

Disciplined organised and full of stout,
Marching in formation to the General's shout,
Holding their swords and weapons at the ready,
An elite told to stand steady,
For little be known for the evil this legion die to protect
A howling fills the deathly night
sends a splinted shiver of fear through brave men

Not breaking their ranks a wolf unlike a native beast
Rises up out of the darkness for it's feast,
Standing up right a werewolf pack diseased
The moment seized
A couple of soldiers fall blood stains their armour,
The bloodbath follows is a level of karma
As one by one the Legion get ripped apart,
Screaming men with amputated arms and legs
Knowing that with this enemy you can longer beg
For one bite enough to change them
Into an abominable hybrid of wolves and men

A couple of survivors loyal
protect the general,
but little known that he was the one with the dark secret to keep,
His body contorts his eyes drop a tear like a weep,
But this is no cry and pity or comradeship,
But because he allowed himself to get bit.
He turned on the survivors who were willing to die for him,
As now he is a changed beast the disease of sin.

A Daydreamer

My love my symphony
My Reality
I ponder and wait for your return
To which I worry with concern
It's been far to long this war
My fingers actively write this score
my music inspires hope to your cause
As sleepless nights I long for your touch
Your sacrifices are to much
For your king and country
I wish you could see
That a woman's love needs you
Please keep safe in all you do,
remember to hold my heart in your endeavour
For I will love you forever.

Diamond, Dust, Devil

Cluster, bright, shining,
Sound echoing to a distant whining,
Beautiful elegant and mesmerising,
perfection; flawless and tantalising,
A diamond; lust for the finger to wear
Eyes interlocked by the powers of hypnotic charm,
Beckoning by the wearer of gifts
Taking, forsaken a contract
exchanged with this prince of illusion,
Seconds follow immediate confusion,
Live glows an elegant sparkle
Before the wearer becomes aware of his demise,
Smoke rings of ferocious fire
Consume and burn skin like flakes of papyrus
The diamond a duller hue
As the body disintegrates in a mound of insignificant dust.

The Letter

The letter

ripped torn and blurred with the rain,
As word by word releases the pain,
 Am I insane
or heart torn across the network of star seeds,
Let down by the very nature of humanities bleak competition,
No place for hope upon a begotten religion,
I see through the mirror the soul bounded deception
As I ponder upon your very rejection,
bounded by a letter that was just in my head,
 emotions blinded by bodily desire,
The mind games will soon expire
And I can free my place in this world
Where I can stand tall in my own aura
As I still hold hope for her.
