Repository of Eternal Repose

Once I finish oiling rusty joints and dusting these old bones,
it's time set off on down the trail.
Where I'll head I haven't a clue;
by heaven perhaps to find you.

No, not some yellow brick road,
a highway for the broken and in-firmed.
Cracked and crumbled; musty and stale,
pathway to lost dreams express rail.

Cacophony slideshow playing in my mind,
as I slide into my seat to speed along.
A thousand what-if's circle to choose;
though now no regrets and nothing left to lose.

Finally my stop time to depart,
the repository of a million unseen dreams.
Doors drag open creaking as they go
gazing upon shelves stacked packed high and low.

Some like boxes shiny sparkling new,
others hanging darkly; skeletons waiting to pounce.
So many choices of where to start,
eternity to shuffle through the trappings of my hidden heart.

All the forks along my road,
ready to explore a life's worth of could have been's!
Oh the glee, to see my dreams and greatest glory,
sifting through my un-lived repository!

Switch Flip

Tappita Tappita Tappita--CLICK
type it all before I spl it
Cogs snap ripping loose my switch
Reality tilted stilted about to pitch
Your about to meet my true inner B***H!

That filter between wrong and right
Losing focus clean outta sight...
thoughts all jumbled...it screws me all up when we fight
Here's a redbull...get your wings and hit the door;
Fly back to that half off dime store whore

F O U R YEARS nothing but a waste
Of my precious time breath and space
I want absolutely nothing more than to .break. your. FACE!
Do the cha cha on your heart; gather the tiny bits,
Feed them to you slowly like dip on a ritz.

Time to let the anger fade,
you were a sad blind phase...
part of the thrill seeker bad boy craze.
If I had a dollar for every dozen roses
given after every black eye, every time you made me cry.

I'd be able to buy and sell your soul
enough times to fill this seeping hole,
chipped and cracked in my heart...
I guess though it's time we part.
Before I change my mind and cross the killer line.

First Date

Ball of butterflies;
knots of anticipation,
tickling me within.

Pick-up at 7;
ready to go around 8.
patiently he waits.

Off to the movies;
holding hands, clumsy and shy,
ever so awkward

Horror flick on screen;
sharing popcorn and candy,
snuggled in close.

Walking home slowly;
lean in;first kiss at the door,
foot popping galore.

Light Upon the Path

Sealed in walls of ice
My heart locked; frozen frail,
Ragged shardsduk-taped
After a swift fall from grace
Grim view of my shackled fate

Opening my mind
In order to see clearly
Amending time lost
Moving forward yet refrained
Seeking a promising path

Lily's, daisies, rose's,
Stoping to sniff as they bloom
Staring at the stars
Burning like a tigers eyes
Meek child I am no longer

Reach for heaven
To chase inner most desires
Stroking fire within
Aspiring to heights untold
Letting inner light shine o

(I connected this to "the great flower of life" in a perspective of personal growth from a troubled child to a positive and driven young adult inspired toward achieving greater things)

Wonder and Lust

Sexy fun salty sweet
Swish, dip, whip and roll,
Love to take a south bound stroll.

Sticky dripping goo,
Uh oh; those look very blue,
Enjoy a protein shake?

Friends first,
Virtue and chaste,
It's ok to wait.

Smooth as silk,
Or bear skin rug...
Matters of personal design.

So much praise,
Between crying sobs...
Worship of the fleshly gods!

Counter Balance

Thelma to my Louise
Partner in crime;
Your smile...
Drags me from darkness to light.

Muse to my demons,
Always playing a perfect tune;
Laugh upon the wind,
Inspiring me to new heights.

 Mechanic to my soul,
Break by break; beer by beer,
We patch, paint, and buff
The scars from our hearts.

Playing Jimminy Cricket
Angel and demon upon decisions;
 Anchor upon rough seas...
molding and supporting one another.

Transcending friend to family;
 Built in body guard,
Protecting my virtue...
A sister you never knew you wanted.

Shelter from rain;
Shoulder to cry upon,
Best friend unto brother...
 I'd be lost without your beacon.

Diamonds In the Sky

Dazzling gems on high
Sparkling souls float in the sky
Heaven burning bright

Gazing to behold
Reflections of memories
A diamonds remnants

Angels twinkling on
Upon thik silvery clouds
Shining so sweetly

Hard brilliance above
Immortal serenity
Beauty taking flight

Daemon Sitter

Sitter of the wee,
titan tamer of babies...
let them scream, cry, and drool
I cannot be uncool-ed.

Tick-tock the hours by and by,
as terror this child may try...
armed with diapers and wipes
we learn potty 101.

Pee in the tub,
poo he smears and rubs...
on the floor; in the trash,
count to 10 think of the cash.

Give me, I want, now, no,
how they demand so...
tantrum if I do not comply
deep breaths I shall not cry!

Flinging pea's, splashing potatoe's,
like a mashed tornado...
almost time to go to bed
at least that's what the mother said.

Sweet silent relief,
rest so very brief...
oh the daemon wails
away I go to re-sing him tales.

Jingle jangle of keys,
I jump and prance with glee...
parents return finally
away quickly I flee.

Never again shall I brag,
of taming the wee devil...
as I shrink back in vain
when I hear his wee baby name.

The Color of Love

Cobalt of your eyes
Caramel suntan kissed skin
Flowing chestnut curls
Soft pink lips I yearn to kiss
Crimson fire burning my heart

Frankly Yours

Dearest D.G.,
it appears to me...
you have a slight quandary!

Let me clarify your confusion,
you frivolous fop...
your relationship is a flop.

Lose his number,
as it seems to be...
you were a dirty secret.

His "sister" likely a wife,
don't wreck her life...
just walk away.

His phone neither broken,
nor is it hid...
you naive kid.

He is not shy,
simply attempting to be shy...
"remodeling" a tricky lie.

His homeT you won't see,
gather what remains of your dignity...
flee this deception.

Focus upon your work,
be a brilliant mother...
eventually you'll find another.

Take these words of wisdom,
if his wife clues in...
you will lose, she will win.

Best of luck,
you plucky duck...
Frankly yours, Agony Aunt
